Kāthakopaniṣat Bhāshya (काठकोपनिषत् )
1.2.13
एतच्छ्रुत्वा सम्परिगृह्य मर्त्यः प्रवृह्य धर्म्यमणुमेनमाप्य। स मोदते मोदनीयं हि लब्ध्वा विवृतं सद्म नचिकेतसं मन्ये ॥१३॥
etacchrutvā samparigṛhya martyaḥ pravṛhya dharmyamaṇumenamāpya। sa modate modanīyaṁ hi labdhvā vivṛtaṁ sadma naciketasam manye॥13॥
[एतत् (etat) - this; श्रुत्वा (śrutvā) - having heard; सम्परिगृह्य (samparigṛhya) - having fully embraced; मर्त्यः (martyaḥ) - the mortal; प्रवृह्य (pravṛhya) - - having separated thoroughly; धर्म्यम् (dharmyam) - righteous; अणुम् (aṇum) - the subtle one; एनम् (enam) - this; आप्य (āpya) - having attained; सः (saḥ) - he; मोदते (modate) - rejoices; मोदनीयम् (modanīyam) - that which is delightful; हि (hi) - indeed; लब्ध्वा (labdhvā) - having obtained; विवृतम् (vivṛtam) - opened; सद्म (sadma) - abode; नचिकेतसम् (naciketasam) - of Naciketas; मन्ये (manye) - I consider;]
Having heard this and fully grasped it, the mortal rightly discerning the distinction, and attaining this righteous subtle being, rejoices, having obtained the delightful and opened abode of Naciketas, I consider.
Bhāṣya 1.2.13
'pravṛhya' i.e. having separated thoroughly, emphasize making a distinction of the supreme Lord from the individual being.
प्रवृह्य जीवात् पृथक्कृत्य।
pravṛhya jīvāt pṛthakkṛtya।
[प्रवृह्य (pravṛhya) - having separated thoroughly; जीवात् (jīvāt) - from the individual beings; पृथक्कृत्य (pṛthakkṛtya) - making distinct;]
The word 'pravṛhya', i.e. having separated thoroughly, is to emphasize making a distinction (of the supreme Lord) from the individual being.
"मुक्तजीवे स्थितं विष्णुं विदित्वा जीवतः पृथक्। मोदते मोदनीयं तं प्राप्य मुक्तस्सदैव च॥"
"muktajīve sthitaṁ viṣṇuṁ viditvā jīvataḥ pṛthak। modate modanīyaṁ taṁ prāpya muktassadaiva ca॥"
[मुक्तजीवे (muktajīve) - in the liberated being; स्थितम् (sthitam) - situated; विष्णुम् (viṣṇum) - Viṣṇu; विदित्वा (viditvā) - having known; जीवतः (jīvataḥ) - from the living being; पृथक् (pṛthak) - distinct; मोदते (modate) - rejoices; मोदनीयम् (modanīyam) - the delightful; तम् (tam) - him; प्राप्य (prāpya) - having attained; मुक्तः (muktaḥ) - liberated; सदा (sadā) - always; एव (eva) - indeed; च (ca) - and;]
"Having known Viṣṇu as distinct from the living being and situated in the liberated being, one rejoices upon attaining the delightful one, and remains always liberated."
इति महावाराहे।
iti mahā-vārāhe।
[इति (iti) - thus; महावाराहे (mahā-vārāhe) - in the Mahā-Vārāha (Purāṇa);]

"एतद्ध्येवाक्ष्रं ब्रह्म विष्ण्वाख्यं परमव्ययम्। सर्वस्यालंबनं ज्नात्वामुच्यते नात्र सम्शयः॥"
"etaddhyevākṣraṁ brahma viṣṇvākhyaṁ paramavyayam। sarvasyālambanaṁ jñātvāmucyate nātra saṁśayaḥ॥"
[एतत् (etat) - this; हि (hi) - indeed; एव (eva) - alone; अक्षरम् (akṣaram) - imperishable; ब्रह्म (brahma) - Brahman; विष्ण्वाख्यम् (viṣṇvākhyam) - named Viṣṇu; परम् (param) - supreme; अव्ययम् (avyayam) - undecaying; सर्वस्य (sarvasya) - of all; आलंबनम् (ālambanam) - support; ज्ञात्वा (jñātvā) - having known; मुच्यते (mucyate) - is liberated; न (na) - not; अत्र (atra) - here; संशयः (saṁśayaḥ) - doubt;]
"This alone is the imperishable Brahman called Viṣṇu, the supreme and undecaying support of all. Knowing this, one is liberated — there is no doubt here."

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
