Studying India’s ancient intellectual tradition and its practical wisdom has long been a personal passion of mine.

Among its great thinkers, Madhvāchārya has always held a special place for me. His writings are profound, rigorous, and remarkably wide-ranging. Yet, for those who do not know Sanskrit, much of his original work remains difficult to access.

madhva.in is my effort to bring his writings to a wider audience through translations, notes, essays, and supporting material, while staying as close as possible to the original texts.

I believe our intellectual heritage deserves to be studied with both respect and a scientific temper. Much of its wisdom on discipline, clarity, moderation, duty, and inner life is perhaps even more relevant in our hurried and overindulged lives today.
