B.G 9.08
prakr̥tiṁ svāmavaṣṭabhya visr̥jāmi punaḥ punaḥ। bhūtagrāmamimaṁ kr̥tsnaṁ avaśaṁ prakr̥tervaśāt ॥8॥
Through My consort Prakrti, I repeatedly create this entire multitude of beings, who are helpless, being swayed under the influence of Prakrti.
Gīta Bhāshya 9.08
Prakrti is that which controls and is under the control of. Dependence of the Lord on Prakrti is like someone who, though capable of walking with his foot, playfully leans on a staff to walk. Indeed, the Lord alone, endowed with infinite power, creates all actions through his own Prakrti.
prakr̥tyavaṣṭambhastu yathā kaścit samartho'pi pādena gantuṁ līlayā daṇḍam avaṣṭabhya gacchati।
But dependence on Prakrti is like someone who, though capable of walking with his foot, playfully leans on a staff to walk.
"sarvabhūtaguṇairyuktaṁ naivaṁ tvaṁ jñātumarhasi।"
"You (the Lord) ought not to be known as endowed with all the qualities of (ordinary) beings."
iti ca mokṣadharme।
- stated thus in the Mokṣa-dharma (section of Mahabharata).
"sarvabhūtaguṇairyuktaṁ daivaṁ māṁ jñātumarhasi।"
"You ought to know me as the divine, endowed with all the qualities of beings."
iti ca।
- stated thus as well.
"viditvā sapta sūkṣmāṇi ṣaḍaṅgaṁ ca maheśvaram। pradhānaviniyogasthaḥ paraṁ brahmādhigacchati॥"
"Having known the seven subtle principles and six parts of the great Lord, as the One who is established in the rightful use of Pradhāna (primordial unmanifest matter), attains the Supreme Brahman."
iti ca।
- stated thus as well.
"na kutracicchaktiranantarūpā vihanyate tasya maheśvarasya। tathāpi māyāmadhiruhya devaḥ pravartate sr̥ṣṭivilāpaneṣu॥"
"The power of the great Lord, of infinite forms, is never hindered anywhere. Yet, having mounted on Māyā (the prakrti, or the Pradhana), the divine one engages in creation and dissolution."
iti r̥gvedakhileṣu।
- stated thus in the sections of the Ṛgvedakhila.
"mayyanantaguṇe'nante guṇato'nantavigrahe।"
"In me, who is infinite, who possesses infinite qualities, and who has infinite forms in terms of qualities."
iti bhāgavate।
- stated thus in the Bhagavata Purana.
"atha kasmāducyate paraṁ brahma iti br̥ṁhati br̥ṁhayati ca।"
"Then, why is it called the supreme Brahman? Because, it expands and makes others to expand."
iti ca atharvaṇe।
- stated thus in the Atharvaveda.
"parā'sya śaktirvividhaiva śrūyate।"
"The supreme power of this is heard in various forms."
iti ca।
- stated thus as well.
"viṣṇornu kaṁ vīryāṇi pravocaṁ yaḥ pārthivāni vimame rajāṁsi॥", "na te viṣṇo jāyamāno na jāto deva mahimnaḥ paramantamāpa॥"
"Indeed, even he who has examined every earthly dust says, which heroic deeds of Vishnu should I speak of?", "Neither those who are born in the past, nor those to be born in future can understand supreme glory of lord Vishnu."

prakr̥teḥ vaśādavaśam।
Prakrti is that which controls and is under the control of.
"tvamevaitatsarjane sarvakarmaṇyanantaśakto'pi svamāyayaiva। māyāvaśaṁ cāvaśalokametattasmāt srakṣyasyatsi pāsīśa viṣṇo॥"
"You alone, endowed with infinite power, create all actions, indeed through your own Prakrti. Under the influence of this 'Prakrti', this world of beings exists. Therefore, Oh Vishnu!, you are the protector."
iti gautamakhileṣu ॥8॥
