Dvādaśa Stotra (द्वादशस्तोत्रम्)
Chapter Two - Sujanōdadhisaṁvr̥ddhi (द्वितीयोध्यायः - सुजनोदधिसंवृद्धि)
सुजनोदधिसंवृद्धिपूर्णचन्द्रो गुणार्णवः। अमन्दानन्दसान्द्रो नः प्रीयतामिन्दिरापतिः ॥१॥
sujanōdadhisaṁvr̥ddhipūrṇacandrō guṇārṇavaḥ। amandānandasāndrō naḥ prīyatāmindirāpatiḥ ॥1॥
[सुजन + उदधि + संवृद्धि + पूर्णचन्द्रः (sujana + udadhi + saṁvr̥ddhi + pūrṇacandraḥ) - the full moon that swells the ocean of good people; गुण + अर्णवः (guṇa + arṇavaḥ) - an ocean of virtues; अमन्द + आनन्द + सान्द्रः (amanda + ānanda + sāndraḥ) - replete with immense bliss; नः (naḥ) - with us; प्रीयताम् (prīyatām) - may he be pleased; इन्दिरा + पतिः (indirā + patiḥ) - the lord of Indirā;]
May Indirā’s lord—the full moon that swells the ocean of good people, an ocean of virtues, and replete with immense bliss—be pleased with us. (1)

रमाचकोरीविधवे दुष्टदर्पोदवह्नये। सत्पान्थजनगेहाय नमो नारायणाय ते ॥२॥
ramācakōrīvidhavē duṣṭadarpōdavahnayē। satpānthajanagēhāya namō nārāyaṇāya tē ॥2॥
[रमा-चकोरी-विधवे (ramā-cakōrī-vidhavē) - the moon for the cakori bird Ramā; दुष्ट-दर्प-उद-वह्नये (duṣṭa-darpa-uda-vahnayē) - the fire consuming the waters of the wicked's pride; सत्-पान्थ-जन-गेहाय (sat-pāntha-jana-gēhāya) - the home of virtuous wayfarers; नमः (namaḥ) - homage; नारायणाय (nārāyaṇāya) - to Nārāyaṇa; ते (tē) - to you;]
Homage to you, Nārāyaṇa—the moon for the cakori bird Ramā, the fire consuming the waters of the wicked’s pride, and the home of virtuous wayfarers. (2)

चिदचिद्भेदमखलिं विधायादाय भुञ्जते। अव्याकृतगृहस्थाय रमाप्रणयिने नमः ॥३॥
cidacidbhēdamakhaliṁ vidhāyādāya bhuñjatē। avyākr̥tagr̥hasthāya ramāpraṇayinē namaḥ ॥3॥
[चित् + अचित् + भेदम् (cit + acit + bhēdam) - distinction between sentient and insentient; अखलिं (akhaliṁ) - entire; विधाय (vidhāya) - having made; आदाय (ādāya) - having taken; भुञ्जते (bhuñjatē) - to him who enjoys; अव्याकृत + गृहस्थाय (avyākr̥ta + gr̥hasthāya) - to the householder in the unmanifest; रमा + प्रणयिने (ramā + praṇayinē) - to Ramā's beloved; नमः (namaḥ) - salutation;]
Salutation to Ramā’s beloved, the householder in the unmanifest, who, having made the entire distinction between the sentient and the insentient, takes it up and enjoys it. (3)

अमन्दागुणसारोपि मन्दहासेन वीक्षितः। नित्यमिन्दिरयानन्दसान्द्रो यो नौमि तं हरिम् ॥४॥
amandāguṇasārōpi mandahāsēna vīkṣitaḥ। nityamindirayānandasāndrō yō naumi taṁ harim ॥4॥
[अमन्दागुणसारः (amandāguṇasāraḥ) - essence of abundant virtues; अपि (api) - though; मन्दहासेन (mandahāsēna) - with a gentle smile; वीक्षितः (vīkṣitaḥ) - gazed upon; नित्यम् (nityam) - always; इन्दिरया (indirayā) - by Indirā; आनन्दसान्द्रः (ānandasāndraḥ) - filled with bliss; यः (yaḥ) - who; नौमि (naumi) - I bow to; तम् (tam) - that; हरिम् (harim) - Hari;]
I bow to that Hari who, though he is the essence of abundant virtues, is always gazed upon by Indirā with a gentle smile and is filled with bliss. (4)

वशी वशे न कस्यापि योजितो विजिताखिलः। सर्वकर्ता न क्रियते तं नमामि रमापतिम् ॥५॥
vaśī vaśē na kasyāpi yōjitō vijitākhilaḥ। sarvakartā na kriyatē taṁ namāmi ramāpatim ॥5॥
[वशी (vaśī) - a master; वशे (vaśē) - under the control; न (na) - not; कस्य + अपि (kasya + api) - of anyone; योजितः (yōjitaḥ) - subjected; विजिताखिलः (vijitākhilaḥ) - having conquered all; सर्वकर्ता (sarvakartā) - creator of all; न (na) - not; क्रियते (kriyatē) - is created; तम् (tam) - him; नमामि (namāmi) - I bow to; रमापतिम् (ramāpatim) - the Lord of Ramā;]
A master, he is subject to no one’s control and has conquered all. The creator of all is not himself created. I bow to him, the Lord of Ramā. (5)

अगुणाय गुणोद्रेकस्वरूपायादिकारिणे। विदारितारिसङ्घाय वासुदेवाय ते नमः ॥६॥
aguṇāya guṇōdrēkasvarūpāyādikāriṇē। vidāritārisaṅghāya vāsudēvāya tē namaḥ ॥6॥
[अगुणाय (aguṇāya) - to the one without qualities; गुणोद्रेकस्वरूपाय (guṇōdrēkasvarūpāya) - whose nature is an abundance of virtues; आदिकारिणे (ādikāriṇē) - to the primal creator; विदारितारिसङ्घाय (vidāritārisaṅghāya) - who has torn apart hosts of enemies; वासुदेवाय (vāsudēvāya) - to Vāsudeva; ते (tē) - to you; नमः (namaḥ) - homage;]
Homage to you, Vāsudeva, who are without qualities, whose nature is an abundance of virtues, who are the primal creator, and who have torn apart hosts of enemies. (6)

आदिदेवाय देवानां पतये सादितारये। अनाद्यज्ञानपाराय नमो वरवराय ते ॥७॥
ādidēvāya dēvānāṁ patayē sāditārayē। anādyajñānapārāya namō varavarāya tē ॥7॥
[आदिदेवाय (ādidēvāya) - to the primordial god; देवानाम् (dēvānām) - of the gods; पतये (patayē) - to the lord; सादित + अरये (sādita + arayē) - to him whose enemies are vanquished; अनादि + अज्ञान + पाराय (anādi + ajñāna + pārāya) - to the end of beginningless ignorance; नमः (namaḥ) - homage; वर + वराय (vara + varāya) - to the best of the excellent; ते (tē) - to you;]
Homage to you, the primordial god, the lord of the gods, whose enemies are vanquished, the end of beginningless ignorance, the best of the excellent. (7)

अजाय जनयित्रेस्य विजिताखलिदानव। अजादिपूज्यपादाय नमस्ते गरुडध्वज ॥८॥
ajāya janayitrēsya vijitākhalidānava। ajādipūjyapādāya namastē garuḍadhvaja ॥8॥
[अजाय (ajāya) - to the unborn one; जनयित्रे + अस्य (janayitrē + asya) - to the creator of this world; विजित + आखलि + दानव (vijita + ākhali + dānava) - conqueror of Ākhali the Dānava; अज + आदि (aja + ādi) - Aja and others; पूज्य + पादाय (pūjya + pādāya) - whose feet are worthy of worship; नमः + ते (namaḥ + tē) - homage to you; गरुड + ध्वज (garuḍa + dhvaja) - O Garuḍa-bannered one;]
Homage to you, O Garuḍa-bannered one, conqueror of Ākhali the Dānava, unborn creator of this world, whose feet are worthy of worship by Aja and others. (8)

इन्दिरामन्दसान्द्राग्य्रकटाक्षप्रेक्षितात्मने। अस्मदिष्टैककार्याय पूर्णाय हरये नमः ॥९॥
indirāmandasāndrāgyrakaṭākṣaprēkṣitātmanē। asmadiṣṭaikakāryāya pūrṇāya harayē namaḥ ॥9॥
[इन्दिरा (indirā) - Indirā's; मन्द (manda) - gentle; सान्द्र (sāndra) - intense; अग्य्र (agyra) - excellent; कटाक्ष (kaṭākṣa) - sidelong glance; प्रेक्षित (prēkṣita) - gazed upon; आत्मने (ātmanē) - to him whose person is; अस्मद् + इष्ट (asmad + iṣṭa) - our desired end; एक + कार्याय (ēka + kāryāya) - to him whose sole task it is; पूर्णाय (pūrṇāya) - to the perfect one; हरये (harayē) - to Hari; नमः (namaḥ) - homage;]
Homage to the perfect Hari, whose person is regarded by Indirā’s gentle, intense, excellent sidelong glance and whose sole task is to fulfill our desire. (9)

इति श्रीमदानन्दतीर्थभगवत्पादाचार्यविरचिते द्वादशस्तोत्रे द्वितीयोध्यायः।
iti śrīmadānandatīrthabhagavatpādācāryaviracitē dvādaśastōtrē dvitīyōdhyāyaḥ।
[इति (iti) - thus; श्रीमत् + आनन्दतीर्थ + भगवत्पादाचार्य + विरचिते (śrīmat + ānandatīrtha + bhagavatpādācārya + viracitē) - composed by the illustrious Ānandatīrtha Bhagavatpādācārya; द्वादशस्तोत्रे (dvādaśastōtrē) - in the Dvādaśastotra; द्वितीयः + अध्यायः (dvitīyaḥ + adhyāyaḥ) - the second chapter;]
Thus ends the second chapter of the Dvādaśastotra composed by the illustrious Ānandatīrtha Bhagavatpādācārya.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
