पान्त्वस्मान् पुरुहूतवैरि बलवन्मातङ्ग माद्यद्घटा। कुंभोच्चाद्रि विपाटनाधिकपटु प्रत्येक वज्रायिताः। श्रीमत्कंठीरवास्य प्रतत सुनखरा दारितारातिदूर। प्रद्ध्वस्तध्वांत शांत प्रवितत मनसा भावितानाकिवृंदैः॥१॥
pāntvasmān puruhūtavairi balavanmātaṅga mādyadghaṭā। kuṃbhoccādri vipāṭanādhikapaṭu pratyeka vajrāyitāḥ। śrīmatkaṃṭhīravāsya pratata sunakharā dāritārātidūra। praddhvastadhvāṃta śāṃta pravitata manasā bhāvitānākivṛndaiḥ॥1॥

May the outstretched, excellent nails of the glorious Lion-faced Lord protect us — nails which, each like a thunderbolt, are exceedingly skilled at splitting even mountain-like elephant temples; which tore apart and cast far away the powerful, rut-maddened, elephant-like enemy of Indra; which completely destroy darkness, and are meditated upon by the hosts of gods with minds spread wide in tranquillity.
लक्ष्मीकांत समंततोऽपिकलयन् नैवेशितुस्ते समम्। पश्याम्युत्तम वस्तु दूरतरतोपास्तं रसोयोऽष्टमः। यद्रोशोत्कर दक्ष नेत्र कुटिल प्रांतोत्थिताग्नि स्फुरत्। खद्योतोपम विस्फुलिङ्गभसिता ब्रह्मेशशक्रोत्कराः॥२॥
lakṣmīkānta samantato'pi kalayan naiveśituste samam। paśyāmyuttama vastu dūrataratopāstaṃ rasoyo'ṣṭamaḥ। yadroṣotkara dakṣa netra kuṭila prāṃtothitāgni sphurat। khadyotopama visphuliṅgabhastā brahmeśaśakrotkarāḥ॥2॥

(O Lord of Lakshmi, considering all around, I see nothing equal to you. I see an excellent object worshipped from afar, the eighth essence of iron. The heap of anger, arisen from the capable eye's crooked corner, sparkling like a firefly, has burnt the multitude of Brahma, Lord, and Indra.)

श्रीमद्विष्ण्वंघ्रि निष्ठा अतिगुणगुरुतम श्रीमदानंदतीर्थ। त्रैलोक्याचार्य पादोज्ज्वल जलजलसत् पांसवोऽस्मान्पुनंतु। वाचांयत्रप्रणेत्रीत्रिभुवनमहिता शारदा शारदेंदुः। ज्योत्स्नाभद्रस्मित श्रीधवळितककुभाप्रेमभारंबभार॥१॥

जन्माधिव्याध्युपाधिप्रतिहतिविरहप्रापकाणां गुणानाम्। अग्र्याणां अर्पकाणां चिरमुदितचिदानंद संदोहदानाम्। एतेषामेशदोष प्रमुषितमनसां द्वेषिणां दूषकाणाम्। दैत्यानामार्थिमंधे तमसि विदधतां संस्तवेनास्मि शक्तः॥३॥
janmādhivyādhyupādhipratihativirahaprāpakāṇāṃ guṇānām। agryāṇāṃ arpakāṇāṃ ciramuditacidānanda saṃdohadānām। eteṣāmeśadoṣa pramuṣitamanasāṃ dveṣiṇāṃ dūṣakāṇām। daityānāmārthimandhe tamasi vidadhatāṃ saṃstavenāsmi śaktaḥ॥3॥

(Desiring to reveal the path of knowledge to the people in this impure age of Kali, the incarnation of the wind god, named Madhva, perfected by mantra, is worshipped today by leaders and others, including the moon, Indra, Rudra, the sun, jewels, and serpents. He is the savior, the supreme position, the state free from calamities for the fallen men who attain him.)
In this age of Kali, where impurity prevails, the path of knowledge is revealed by the incarnation of the wind god, Madhva, who is perfected by mantra. (May Vayu Deva, the leader of spiritual knowledge, who is fierce like rising lightning, whose own lustre pervades the space of the world, who bears a terrible arm, risen with the splendour of the sun, strong in great limbs, uplifted in valour with the foremost mace, grant good sense here to Arni, the best of ascetics, beneficial ornament of the earth.)

संसारोत्तापनित्योपशमद सदय स्नेहहासांबुपूर। प्रोद्यद्विद्यावनद्य द्युतिमणिकिरण श्रेणिसंपूरिताशः। श्रीवत्सांकाधि वासोचित तरसरलश्रीमदानंदतीर्थ। क्षीरांभोधिर्विभिन्द्याद्भवदनभिमतंभूरिमेभूति हेतुः॥६॥
saṁsārottāpanityopaśamada sadaya snehahāsāṁbupūra। prodyadvidyāvanadya dyutimaṇikiraṇa śreṇisaṁpūritāśaḥ। śrīvatsāṁkādhi vāsocita tarasaralaśrīmadānandatīrtha। kṣīrāṁbodhirvibhindyādbhavadanabhimataṁbhūrimebhūti hetuḥ॥6॥

May the compassionate one, who eternally calms the heat of the world, full of affectionate smiles like water, whose rising knowledge is like a forest in the sky filled with rays of shining jewels, who is the hope above the mark of Śrīvatsa, and who resides in a more simple and glorious blissful sacred place, split the ocean of milk to remove your undesired abundant prosperity.
मूधर्न्येषोऽन्जलिमेर् दृढतरमिहते बध्यते बंधपाश। क्षेत्रेधात्रे सुखानां भजति भुवि भविष्यद्विधात्रे द्युभत्रेर्। अत्यंतं संततं त्वं प्रदिश पदयुगे हन्त संताप भाजाम्। अस्माकं भक्तिमेकां भगवत उतते माधवस्याथ वायोः॥७॥

In this place, dedicated to the long meditation on the auspicious feet of Hari by our teachers, you have surrendered to the service of your own words, holding the battlefield. He who remains indifferent sits in foolishness, unable to overcome suffering. How can one not dwell in almost bliss, constantly amidst fivefold and extreme hardships?

Your enemies, emaciated by hunger, with rough bodies, sharp teeth and nails, and disturbed eyes, are submerged in a dark well. They are attacked by birds with razor-sharp beaks, leaving their limbs wounded. They are surrounded by pus, blood, urine, and excrement, filled with worms. In this state, they are momentarily thrown by powerful weapons, like thunderbolts, by groups of leeches.
