Tattva Saṅkhyānam

स्पृष्टदुःखा विमुक्ताश्च दुःखसंस्था इति द्विधा। दुःखसंस्था मुक्तियोग्या अयोग्या इति च द्विधा ॥४॥

spr̥ṣṭaduḥkhā vimuktāśca duḥkhasaṁsthā iti dvidhā। duḥkhasaṁsthā muktiyōgyā ayōgyā iti ca dvidhā ॥4॥

[spr̥ṣṭaduḥkhā = those touched by suffering; vimuktāśca = and liberated; duḥkhasaṁsthā = situated in suffering; iti dvidhā = thus twofold;। duḥkhasaṁsthā = situated in suffering; muktiyōgyā= suitable for liberation; ayōgyā = unsuitable for liberation; iti = thus; ca = and; dvidhā = are of two types;]

Those touched by suffering are of two types: liberated and those situated in suffering. Among those situated in suffering, there are two types: suitable for liberation, and unsuitable for liberation.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
