Kāthakopaniṣat Bhāshya (काठकोपनिषत् )
2.1.05
य इदं मध्वदं वेदाऽत्मानं जीवमन्तिकात्। ईशानं भूतभव्यस्य न ततो विजुगुप्सते। एतद्वै तत् ॥५॥
ya idaṃ madhvadaṃ vedā'tmānaṃ jīvamantikāt। īśānaṃ bhūtabhavyasya na tato vijugupsate। etadvai tat ॥5॥
[यः (yaḥ) - who; इदम् (idam) - this; मध्वदम् (madhvadam) - nectar-giving; वेद (veda) - knows; आत्मानम् (ātmānam) - ātmān; जीवम् (jīvam) - individual being; अन्तिकात् (antikāt) - near; ईशानम् (īśānam) - lord; भूतभव्यस्य (bhūtabhavyasya) - of past and future; न (na) - not; ततः (tataḥ) - therefore; विजुगुप्सते (vijugupsate) - hates; एतत् (etat) - this; वै (vai) - indeed; तत् (tat) - that;]
He who realizes this 'Ātmān', the ruler of what has been and what will be, which is the source of bliss, and which resides close to the individual being, 'Jīva', does not despise anything. This is indeed that (ultimate truth).
Bhāṣya 2.1.05
The phrase 'jīvasyāntike' indicates the nearness of 'jīva', i.e. individual being with the other, 'ātmān'.
जीवस्यान्तिके। न हि स्वस्य स्वयं जीवोऽन्तिके भवति। वस्त्वन्तरस्य हि दूरत्वमन्तिकत्वं वा ॥५॥
jīvasyāntike। na hi svasya svayaṃ jīvo'ntike bhavati। vastvantarasya hi dūratvamantikattvaṃ vā ॥5॥
[जीवस्य (jīvasya) - of individual being; अन्तिके (antike) - near; न (na) - not; हि (hi) - indeed; स्वस्य (svasya) - of one's own; स्वयं (svayaṃ) - self; जीवः (jīvaḥ) - life; अन्तिके (antike) - near; भवति (bhavati) - becomes; वस्तु (vastu) - object; अन्तरस्य (antarasya) - of another; हि (hi) - indeed; दूरत्वम् (dūratvam) - distance; अन्तिकत्वं (antikattvaṃ) - nearness; वा (vā) - or;]
The phrase 'jīvasyāntike' i.e. "Individual being is near". Indeed, one's own self does not become near its own being. Indeed, the word 'antarasya' - i.e. between indicates the distance or nearness of another object.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
