Bhagavad Gīta Bhāshya and Tātparya
B.G 9.05
न च मत्स्थानि भूतानि पश्य मे योगमैश्वरम्। भूतभृन्न च भूतस्थो ममात्मा भूतभावनः ॥५॥
na ca matsthāni bhūtāni paśya me yogamaiśvaram। bhūtabhr̥nna ca bhūtastho mamātmā bhūtabhāvanaḥ ॥5॥
[न (na) - not; च (ca) - and; मत्स्थानि (matsthāni) - existing in me; भूतानि (bhūtāni) - beings; पश्य (paśya) - behold, see; मे (me) - my; योगमैश्वरम् (yoga-maiśvaram) - divine mystical power; भूतभृत् (bhūta-bhṛt) - the sustainer of beings; न (na) - not; च (ca) - and; भूतस्थः (bhūta-sthaḥ) - dwelling in beings; मम (mama) - my; आत्मा (ātmā) - self; भूतभावनः (bhūta-bhāvanaḥ) - the source of all beings;]
And yet, beings do not exist in Me - behold My divine mystical power! Though I sustain all beings, My self does not dwell in them, for I am the source of all beings.
Gīta Tātparya 9.05
The phrase 'mama ātmā' indicates the non-difference between the body and ātmā (the essence) of the Lord.
"विष्णुगानि अपि अतत्स्थानि भूतान्येष ह्यसङ्गतः।"
"viṣṇugāni api atatsthāni bhūtānyeṣa hyasaṅgataḥ।"
[विष्णुगानि (viṣṇugāni) - belonging to Viṣṇu; अपि (api) - even; अतत्स्थानि (atatsthāni) - not abiding in Him; भूतानि (bhūtāni) - beings; एषः (eṣaḥ) - He; हि (hi) - indeed; असङ्गतः (asaṅgataḥ) - unattached;]
"Even the beings belonging to Viṣṇu do not abide in Him, for He is indeed unattached."
इति च।

[इति (iti) - thus; च (ca) - and / as well;]
- stated thus as well.
मम आत्मा मम देह एव। तदनन्यत्वात्। देहस्य अचेतनत्वाशङ्कानिवृत्तये 'मम आत्मा' इत्याह ॥९॥
mama ātmā mama deha eva। tadananyatvāt। dehasya acetanatvāśaṅkānivr̥ttaye 'mama ātmā' ityāha ॥9॥
[मम (mama) - my; आत्मा (ātmā) - self, soul; मम (mama) - my; देहः (dehaḥ) - body; एव (eva) - indeed, only; तदनन्यत्वात् (tad-ananyatvāt) - due to its non-difference from that; देहस्य (dehasya) - of the body; अचेतनत्व (acetanatva) - lack of consciousness; आशङ्का (āśaṅkā) - doubt, suspicion; निवृत्तये (nivṛttaye) - for removal; 'मम आत्मा' इत्याह ('mama ātmā' ity āha) - thus he says "my self."]
My self is indeed my body, because of their non-difference. To remove the doubt regarding the body's lack of consciousness, it is said, "my self."

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
