Bhagavad Gīta Tātparya
B.G 5.08 and 09
नैव किञ्चित् करोमीति युक्तो मन्येत तत्त्ववित्। पश्यन् शृृण्वन् स्पृशन् जिघ्रन् अश्नन् गच्छन् स्वपन् श्वसन् ॥८॥
प्रलपन् विसृजन् गृह्णन् उन्मिषन् निमिषन् अपि। इंद्रियाणींद्रियार्थेषु वर्तन्त इति धारयन् ॥९॥
naiva kiñcit karomīti yukto manyeta tattvavit। paśyan śr̥r̥ṇvan spr̥śan jighran aśnan gacchan svapan śvasan ॥8॥
pralapan visr̥jan gr̥hṇan unmiṣan nimiṣan api। iṁdriyāṇīṁdriyārtheṣu vartanta iti dhārayan ॥9॥
[न एव किञ्चित् करोमि इति युक्तः मन्येत तत्त्ववित् पश्यन्। श्रृण्वन् स्पृशन् जिघ्रन् अश्नन् गच्छन् स्वपन् श्वसन्॥
न (na) - not; एव (eva) - indeed, only; किञ्चित् (kiñcit) - anything; करोमि (karomi) - I do, I perform; इति (iti) - thus, in this way; युक्तः (yuktaḥ) - being engaged in Yōga; मन्येत (manyeta) - one may think, one may consider; तत्त्ववित् (tattvavit) - knower of truth, wise person; पश्यन् (paśyan) - seeing; श्रृण्वन् (śṛṇvan) - hearing; स्पृशन् (spṛśan) - touching; जिघ्रन् (jighran) - smelling; अश्नन् (aśnan) - tasting; गच्छन् (gacchan) - going; स्वपन् (svapan) - dreaming; श्वसन् (śvasan) - breathing;]
[ प्रलपन् विसृजन् गृह्णन् उन्मिषन् निमिषन् अपि। इंद्रियाणि इन्द्रियार्थेषु वर्तन्ते इति धारयन्॥
प्रलपन् (pralapan) - talking; विसृजन् (visṛjan) - releasing, letting go; गृह्णन् (gṛhṇan) - grasping, holding; उन्मिषन् (unmiṣan) - blinking open (of the eyes); निमिषन् (nimisan) - blinking close (of the eyes); अपि (api) - also, even; इंद्रियाणि (indriyāṇi) - senses; इन्द्रियार्थेषु (indriyārtheṣu) - in sense objects; वर्तन्ते (vartante) - are driven to; इति (iti) - thus, in this way; धारयन् (dhārayan) - establishes his constant awareness;]
Having engaged himself in Yōga the wise knower of truth establishes his constant awareness (dharayan) that he himself is not doing anything, while seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, tasting, going, dreaming, breathing, talking, grasping, releasing, and even opening and closing the eyes, knowing well the senses are driven to sense objects.

How the renunciation takes the form of Yōga is explained. The one who knows the truth understands that the mind and senses are set in motion and operate for the sake of lord Vishnu in all aspects, and they are not independent.
यथा न्यासस्य योगरूपत्वं तथाऽह नैव किञ्चित् इत्यादिना।
yathā nyāsasya Yōgarūpatvaṁ tathā'ha naiva kiñcit ityādinā।
[यथा (yathā) - how; न्यासस्य (nyāsasya) - of renunciation; योगरूपत्वं (Yōgarūpatvaṁ) - takes the form of Yōga; तथा (tathā) - similarly; अह (aha) - indeed; नैव (naiva) किञ्चित् (kiñcit) - the verse 'naiva kiñcit' ; इति (iti) - thus; आदिना (ādinā) - with such statements;]
How the renunciation takes the form of Yōga is clarified by the verse 'naiva kiñcit' and the other.
"विष्णुनार्थेष्वीरितानि मन आदीनि सर्वशः। वर्तन्तेऽन्यो न स्वतन्त्र इति जानन् हि तत्ववित्॥"
"viṣṇunārtheṣvīritāni mana ādīni sarvaśaḥ। vartante'nyo na svatantra iti jānan hi tatvavit॥"
[विष्णुनार्थेषु (viṣṇunārtheṣu) - for the sake of lord Viṣṇu; ईरितानि (īritāni) - set in motion; मनः (manaḥ) - mind; आदीनि (ādīni) - etc. i.e. senses; सर्वशः (sarvaśaḥ) - in all respects; वर्तन्ते (vartante) - operate; अन्यो (anyo) - another; न (na) - not; स्वतन्त्रः (svatantraḥ) - independent; इति (iti) - thus; जानन् (jānan) - knowing; हि (hi) - indeed; तत्ववित् (tatvavit) - the knower of truth;]
"The one who knows the truth understands that the mind and senses are set in motion and operate for the sake of lord Vishnu in all aspects, and they are not independent."

सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
