Bhagavad Gīta Bhāshya and Tātparya
B.G 11.46
किरीटिनं गदिनं चक्रहस्तं इच्छामि त्वां द्रष्टुमहं तथैव। तेनैव रूपेण चतुर्भुजेन सहस्रबाहो भव विश्वमूर्ते ॥४६॥
kirīṭinaṁ gadinaṁ cakrahastaṁ icchāmi tvāṁ draṣṭumahaṁ tathaiva। tenaiva rūpeṇa caturbhujena sahasrabāho bhava viśvamūrte॥46॥
[किरीटिनं (kirīṭinam) - crowned; गदिनं (gadinaṁ) - holding a mace; चक्रहस्तं (cakrahastaṁ) - with a discus in hand; इच्छामि (icchāmi) - I wish; त्वां (tvāṁ) - you; द्रष्टुम् (draṣṭum) - to see; अहम् (aham) - I; तथैव (tathaiva) - just so; तेनैव (tenaiva) - in that very; रूपेण (rūpeṇa) - form; चतुर्भुजेन (caturbhujena) - with four arms; सहस्रबाहो (sahasrabāho) - O thousand-armed one; भव (bhava) - be; विश्वमूर्ते (viśvamūrte) - O universal form;]
I wish to see you as before: crowned, holding a mace and discuss, in that very form with four arms. O thousand-armed universal form, become that again.
Gīta Tātparya 11.46
Implies the concealment of the infinite forms.
तेनैव रूपेण भव इति अनन्तरूपगोपनेन तदेव प्रकाशय इत्यर्थः।
tenaiva rūpeṇa bhava iti anantarūpagopanena tadeva prakāśaya ityarthaḥ।
[तेनैव (tenaiva) - in that very; रूपेण (rūpeṇa) - form; भव (bhava) - be; इति (iti) - thus; अनन्तरूपगोपनेन (anantarūpagopanena) - by concealing the infinite forms; तदेव (tadeva) - that very; प्रकाशय (prakāśaya) - reveal; इत्यर्थः (ityarthaḥ) - this is the meaning;]
The phrase: “Be in that very form” implies the concealment of the infinite forms and the manifestation of that one alone.
"पञ्चाननं चिन्त्यमचिन्त्यरूपं पद्मासनं गोपितविश्वरूपम्।"
"pañcānanaṁ cintyamacintyarūpaṁ padmāsanaṁ gopitaviśvarūpam।"
[पञ्चाननं (pañcānanam) - five-faced; चिन्त्यम् (cintyam) - to be meditated upon; अचिन्त्यरूपं (acintyarūpam) - of inconceivable form; पद्मासनं (padmāsanam) - seated on a lotus; गोपितविश्वरूपम् (gopitaviśvarūpam) - one who has hidden the universal form;]
"One with five faces, of inconceivable form, seated on a lotus, having concealed the Universal form."
इति वैहायससंहितायाम्।
iti vaihāyasasaṁhitāyām।
[इति (iti) - thus; वैहायससंहितायाम् (vaihāyasasaṁhitāyām) - in the Vaihāyasa-saṁhitā;]

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
