B.G 3.25
saktāḥ karmaṇyavidvāṁsō yathā kurvanti bhārata। kuryādvidvāṁstathāsaktaścikīrṣurlōkasaṅgraham ॥25॥
saktāḥ = being attached to the results; karmaṇi = in action; avidvāṁsō = the ignorant; yathā = as; kurvanti = perform; bhārata = O Arjuna; kuryāt = should act; vidvān = the learned; tathā = in that way; asaktaḥ = unattached; cikīrṣuḥ = desiring to promote; lōkasaṅgraham = for the welfare of the world;]
O Arjuna, just as the ignorant perform actions attached to the results, so also, the learned should act desiring to promote the welfare of the world, without attachment to results.
