B.G 14.03
मम योनिर्महद्ब्रह्म तस्मिन् गर्भं दधाम्यहम्। सम्भवः सर्वभूतानां ततो भवति भारत ॥३॥
mama yonirmahadbrahma tasmin garbhaṁ dadhāmyaham। sambhavaḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ tato bhavati bhārata ॥3॥
[मम (mama) - my; योनि: (yoniḥ) - womb; महद् (mahad) - great; ब्रह्म (brahma) - Brahman; तस्मिन् (tasmin) - in that; गर्भम् (garbham) - embryo; दधामि (dadhāmi) - place; अहम् (aham) - I; सम्भवः (sambhavaḥ) - birth; सर्व (sarva) - all; भूतानाम् (bhūtānām) - of beings; ततः (tataḥ) - therefore; भवति (bhavati) - becomes; भारत (bhārata) - O Bhārata;]
My womb is the 'Great-Brahma' (mahadbrahma), and in it I place the seed of all creation. O Bhārata, from this union arises the birth of all beings.
Gīta Bhāshya 14.03
The word 'mahadbrahma' is the Prakrti. The phrase 'mama yoniḥ', i.e. my womb, if for the purpose of conception, and does not indicate mother.
महद् ब्रह्म प्रकृतिः। सा च श्रीर्भूर्दुर्गेति भिन्ना। उमासरस्वत्याद्यास्तु तदंशयुता अन्यजीवाः। तथा च काषायणश्रुतिः-
mahad brahma prakṛtiḥ। sā ca śrīrbhūrdurgeti bhinnā। umāsarasvatyādyāstu tadaṃśayutā anyajīvāḥ। tathā ca kāṣāyaṇaśrutiḥ-

The 'Great Brahman' is the Prakrti. It is divided into forms such as Lakshmi, Earth, and Durga. Uma, Sarasvati, and others are manifestations of its parts, as are other beings. This is stated in the Kāṣāyaṇa scripture.
"श्रीर्भूर्दुर्गा महती तु माया सा लोकसूति: जगतो बन्धका च। उमावागाद्या अन्यजीवास्तदंशाः तदात्मना सर्ववेदेषु गीताः॥"
"śrīrbhūrdurgā mahatī tu māyā sā lokasūtiḥ jagato bandhikā ca। umāvāgādyā anyajīvāstadaṁśāḥ tadātmanā sarvavedeṣu gītāḥ॥"
[श्रीः (śrīḥ) - Lakshmi; भूः (bhūḥ) - earth; दुर्गा (durgā) - Durga; महती (mahatī) - great; तु (tu) - but; माया (māyā) - illusion; सा (sā) - she; लोकसूति: (lokasūtiḥ) - origin of the world; जगतः (jagataḥ) - of the universe; बन्धका (bandhikā) - binder; च (ca) - and; उमा (umā) - Uma; वाक् (vāk) - speech; आद्या (ādyā) - primordial; अन्य (anya) - other; जीवाः (jīvāḥ) - beings; तदंशाः (tadaṁśāḥ) - their parts; तदात्मना (tadātmanā) - by their essence; सर्ववेदेषु (sarvavedeṣu) - in all Vedas; गीताः (gītāḥ) - sung;]
"She, in the form of Lakshmi, Earth, Durga, and Great (Mahat) binds through illusion during the creation of the Universe. Uma, the primordial speech, and other beings are part of her essence, sung in all Vedas."

The phrase "My womb" ('mama yoniḥ') refers to the purpose of conception, not to the mother, as understood from the context of the sentence. This is also mentioned in the Sāmaveda, Śārkarākṣya tradition:
"विष्णोर्योनिः गर्भसन्धारणार्था महामाया सर्वदुःखैर्विहीना। तथाप्यात्मानं दुःखिवन्मोहनार्थं प्रकाशयन्ती सह विष्णुना सा॥"
"viṣṇoryoniḥ garbhasandhāraṇārthā mahāmāyā sarvaduḥkhairvihīnā। tathāpyātmānaṃ duḥkhivanmohanārthaṃ prakāśayantī saha viṣṇunā sā॥"
[विष्णोः (viṣṇoḥ) - of Vishnu; योनि: (yoniḥ) - womb; गर्भसन्धारणार्था (garbhasandhāraṇārthā) - for the purpose of sustaining the womb; महामाया (mahāmāyā) - Goddess Mahāmāyā; सर्वदुःखैः (sarvaduḥkhaiḥ) - from all sorrows; विहीना (vihīnā) - devoid; तथापि (tathāpi) - even so; आत्मानं (ātmānaṃ) - herself; दुःखिवत् (duḥkhivat) - as if sorrowful; मोहनार्थं (mohanārthaṃ) - for the purpose of delusion; प्रकाशयन्ती (prakāśayantī) - manifesting; सह (saha) - with; विष्णुना (viṣṇunā) - Vishnu; सा (sā) - she;]
"The goddess Mahā-māyā, womb of Vishnu, though devoid of all sorrows, manifests herself with Vishnu as if sorrowful to delude others."

Therefore, the display of Sita's sorrow and others is for pretence only. Same is stated in the Kurma Purana. She is not the same as planet Earth. It is mentioned in Saukarayana's scripture:
"अन्या भू: भूरियं तस्य छाया भूतावमा सा हि भूतैकयोनिः॥"
anyā bhūḥ bhūriyaṃ tasya chāyā bhūtāvamā sā hi bhūtaikayoniḥ॥
[अन्या (anyā) - another; भूः (bhūḥ) - earth; भूरियं (bhūriyaṃ) - this earth; तस्य (tasya) - his; छाया (chāyā) - shadow; भूतावमा (bhūtāvamā) - the lowest of beings; सा (sā) - she; हि (hi) - indeed; भूतैकयोनिः (bhūtaikayoniḥ) - the sole origin of beings;]
"The 'bhūḥ' is different; its shadow is the planet Earth, which is lower. Indeed, she is the foundation of the origin of all beings."

[अवाप (avāpa) - obtained; स्वेच्छया (svecchayā) - by own will; दास्यम् (dāsyaṃ) - servitude; जगताम् (jagatām) - of the worlds; प्रपितामही (prapitāmahī) - great-grandmother;]
"The great-grandmother of the worlds willingly accepted servitude (of the Lord) of her own free will."
इति अनभिम्लातश्रुतिः।

मत्स्यपुराणोक्तमपि स्वेच्छयैव। महद्ब्रह्मशब्दवाच्यापि प्रकृतिरेव-

It is also mentioned in the Matsya Purana that she acts of her own free will. Indeed, the word 'mahadbrahma', i.e. great-brahman refers to Prakrti only -
"महती ब्रह्मणी द्वे तु प्रकृतिश्च महेश्वरः।"
"mahatī brahmaṇī dve tu prakṛtiśca maheśvaraḥ।"
[महती (mahatī) - great; ब्रह्मणी (brahmaṇī) - Brahman; द्वे (dve) - two; तु (tu) - but; प्रकृतिः (prakṛtiḥ) - nature / Prakrti; च (ca) - and; महेश्वरः (maheśvaraḥ) - great lord;]
"The two words 'mahatī' (great), and 'brahmani' (Brahman) refer to both Prakrti and Great-Lord (maheśvara)".

In the context, the word 'yoni' means wife.
"योनिः भार्या तथा स्थानं योनिः कारणमेव च।"
"yoniḥ bhāryā tathā sthānaṁ yoniḥ kāraṇameva ca।"
[योनिः (yoniḥ) - source; भार्या (bhāryā) - wife; तथा (tathā) - and; स्थानं (sthānaṁ) - place; योनिः (yoniḥ) - cosmic womb; कारणम् (kāraṇam) - cause; एव (eva) - indeed; च (ca) - and;]
The word 'yoni' means wife, or place, or the cause of the cosmic womb."
