B.G 7.25
nāhaṁ prakāśaḥ sarvasya yogamāyāsamāvr̥taḥ। mūḍho'yaṁ nābhijānāti loko māmajamavyayam ॥25॥
I do not become visible to everyone, being covered by Yōga-māya, My capacity to overpower. This deluded world does not know Me, the unborn and the imperishable.
Gīta Bhāshya 7.25
The foolish does not know that 'Yōga-māya' is My capacity to overpower and is mine only.
ajñānaṁ ca madicchayā ityāha - 'nāham' iti। yogena sāmarthyopāyena। māyayā ca। mayaiva mūḍho nābhijānāti। tathā hi pādme -
Ignorance too is by My will only is conveyed by 'nāham' verse. 'Yogena' - by the capability of the Lord; 'Māyayā' - by His illusionary power. 'na-abhijānāti' - the foolish do not know that they are born from my power. Same is stated in the Padma Purana:
"ātmanaḥ prāvr̥tiṁ caiva lokacittasya bandhanam। svasāmarthyena devyā ca kurute sa maheśvaraḥ॥"
"The Supreme Lord conceals the 'ātman', the essence of the being, and binds the mind to the world by His own power and through His divine energy (Māya)."
iti ca ॥25॥
- stated thus as well.
