Bhagavad Gīta Bhāshya and Tātparya
B.G 7.01
श्रीभगवानुवाच,
मय्यासक्तमनाः पार्थ योगं युञ्जन् मदाश्रयः। असंशयं समग्रं मां यथा ज्ञास्यसि तच्छृणु ॥१॥
śrībhagavānuvāca,
mayyāsaktamanāḥ pārtha yogaṁ yuñjan madāśrayaḥ। asaṁśayaṁ samagraṁ māṁ yathā jñāsyasi tacchr̥ṇu ॥1॥
[श्रीभगवानुवाच,
मयि आसक्तमनाः पार्थ योगं युञ्जन् मत् आश्रयः। असंशयं समग्रं मां यथा ज्ञास्यसि तत् श्रुणु॥
श्रीभगवानुवाच (śrībhagavānuvāca) - The Blessed Lord said; मयि (mayi) - In Me; आसक्तमनाः (āsaktamanāḥ) - with the mind attached; पार्थ (pārtha) - O son of Pritha (Arjuna); योगं (yogam) - yoga; युञ्जन् (yuñjan) - practicing; मत् (mat) - My; आश्रयः (āśrayaḥ) - taking refuge in; असंशयं (asaṁśayaṁ) - without doubt; समग्रं (samagraṁ) - completely; मां (māṁ) - Me; यथा (yathā) - as; ज्ञास्यसि (jñāsyasi) - you shall know; तत् (tat) - that; श्रुणु (śṛṇu) - hear.]
The Blessed Lord said, "O son of Pritha, with your mind having a deep affection for Me, practicing yoga and taking refuge in Me, without doubt, you shall know Me completely. Hear this."
Gīta Bhāshya 7.01
The means ('sādhanam') was the subject of the past, while the glory of the Lord ('bhagavan-māhātmyam') is the primary subject from now on.
'āsaktamanāḥ' - whose mind is filled with deep affection; 'madāśrayaḥ'- one who is established in the understanding that "The Lord alone causes everything to happen through me, He alone is my refuge, and in Him alone I am established". 'asaṁśayaṁ' i.e. without doubt, and 'samagram' i.e. completely, describing the special attributes of such a person.
साधनं प्राधान्येन उक्तम् अतीतैः अध्यायैः। उत्तरैस्तु षड्भिः भगवन्माहात्म्यं प्राधान्येन आह।
sādhanaṁ prādhānyena uktam atītaiḥ adhyāyaiḥ। uttaraistu ṣaḍbhiḥ bhagavanmāhātmyaṁ prādhānyena āha।
[साधनं (sādhanam) - the means; प्राधान्येन (prādhānyena) - primarily; उक्तम् (uktam) - was mentioned; अतीतैः (atītaiḥ) - by the past; अध्यायैः (adhyāyaiḥ) - chapters; उत्तरैः (uttaraiḥ) - by the later; तु (tu) - but; षड्भिः (ṣaḍbhiḥ) - by six; भगवन्माहात्म्यं (bhagavan-māhātmyam) - the glory of the Lord; प्राधान्येन (prādhānyena) - primarily; आह (āha) - stated.]
The means ('sādhanam') was the primary subject of the past chapters. However, the glory of the Lord ('bhagavan-māhātmyam') is the primary subject after the sixth chapter.
आसक्तमनाः अतीव स्नेहयुक्तमनाः। मदाश्रयः - 'भगवानेव सर्वं मया कारयति, स एव मे शरणम्, तस्मिन्नेवाहं स्थितः' इति स्थितः। असंशयं, समग्रम् इति क्रियाविशेषणम् ॥१॥
āsaktamanāḥ atīva snehayuktamanāḥ। madāśrayaḥ - 'bhagavāneva sarvaṁ mayā kārayati, sa eva me śaraṇam, tasminnevāhaṁ sthitaḥ' iti sthitaḥ। asaṁśayaṁ, samagram iti kriyāviśeṣaṇam ॥1॥
[आसक्तमनाः (āsaktamanāḥ) - with a mind that is inquisitive; अतीव (atīva) - exceedingly; स्नेहयुक्तमनाः (snehayuktamanāḥ) - with a mind full of affection; मदाश्रयः (madāśrayaḥ) - having taken refuge in Me; भगवानेव (bhagavān eva) - The Lord alone; सर्वं (sarvaṁ) - everything; मया (mayā) - by me; कारयति (kārayati) - causes to be done; स एव (sa eva) - He alone; मे (me) - my; शरणम् (śaraṇam) - refuge; तस्मिन्नेव (tasminn eva) - in Him alone; अहम् (aham) - I; स्थितः (sthitaḥ) - am established; असंशयं (asaṁśayaṁ) - without doubt; समग्रम् (samagram) - completely; इति (iti) - thus; क्रियाविशेषणम् (kriyāviśeṣaṇam) - adverb.]
'āsaktamanāḥ'- means one whose mind is filled with deep affection. 'madāśrayaḥ'- refers to the state of one who is established in the understanding that "The Lord alone causes everything to happen through me, He alone is my refuge, and in Him alone I am established". 'asaṁśayaṁ' i.e. without doubt, and 'samagram' i.e. completely are adverbs describing the special attributes.
Gīta Tātparya 7.01
The glory of the Lord is specifically spoken in this chapter.
भगवन्महिमा विशेषत उच्यते।
bhagavanmahimā viśeṣata ucyate।
[भगवत् (bhagavat) - of the Lord; महिमा (mahimā) - glory; विशेषतः (viśeṣataḥ) - specifically; उच्यते (ucyate) - is spoken/said;]
The glory of the Lord is specifically spoken.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
