Tantrasāra Saṅgraha

ऋषिश्च देवतैकोहं तारादीनां विशेषतः। छन्दो मदीया गायत्री ताराष्टाक्षरयोर्मता ॥१७॥

r̥ṣiśca dēvataikōhaṁ tārādīnāṁ viśēṣataḥ। chandō madīyā gāyatrī tārāṣṭākṣarayōrmatā ॥17॥

[r̥ṣiśca = sage as well; dēvataikōhaṁ = I am only the presiding diety; tārādīnāṁ = for Pranava and other mantras; viśēṣataḥ = specially; chandō = the meter is; madīyā = mine as well; gāyatrī = Gāyatri; tārāṣṭākṣarayōrmatā = for Pranava and eight letter mantra is my decided view;]

Specially for Pranava and other mantras, I am the presiding deity and sage. It is my decided view that the meter for Pranava and eight letter mantra is Gāyatri.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
