अपङ्डितेनापि मयार्जितेयं मुकुन्दलीला कविकण्ठमाला। अकौशलेन ग्रथितेति जातिप्रसूनमालां किमु सन्त्यजन्ति ॥९॥
apaṅḍitenāpi mayārjiteyaṃ mukundalīlā kavikaṇṭhamālā। akauśalena grathiteti jātiprasūnamālāṃ kimu santyajanti ॥9॥
[अपङ्डितेन (apaṅḍitena) - by an unlearned person; अपि (api) - even; मया (mayā) - by me; अर्जिता (arjitā) - acquired; इयं (iyaṃ) - this; मुकुन्दलीला (mukundalīlā) - Lord Mukunda's play; कविकण्ठमाला (kavikaṇṭhamālā) - Kavikanṭhamālā (garland for the poet's neck); अकौशलेन (akauśalena) - by lack of skill; ग्रथिता (grathitā) - composed; इति (iti) - thus; जाति (jāti) - flower; प्रसूनमालां (prasūnamālāṃ) - garland of blossoms; किमु (kimu) - would indeed; सन्त्यजन्ति (santyajanti) - abandon; ॥९॥ (॥9॥) - ॥9॥;]
Even if composed by an unlearned and unskilled person like me, would anyone really discard a garland of flowers, such as this Kavikanṭhamālā, a garland for the poet's neck, which celebrates the play of Lord Mukunda?
