Mundakōpanishad Bhāshya
Mundaka 4.02
एतज्जानथ सदसद्वरेण्यं परं विज्ञानाद् यद्वरिष्ठं प्रजानाम्। यदर्चिमद् यदणुभ्योऽणु च यस्मिन् लोका निहिता लोकिनश्च ॥२॥
etajjānatha sadasadvareṇyaṃ paraṃ vijñānād yadvariṣṭhaṃ prajānām। yadarćimad yadaṇubhyo'ṇu ca yasmin lokā nihitā lokinaśca ॥2॥
[एतत् (etat) - this; जानथ (jānatha) - know; सत् (sat) - existence; असत् (asat) - non-existence; वरेण्यं (vareṇyaṃ) - most excellent; परं (param) - beyond; विज्ञानात् (vijñānāt) - science / mastered-knowledge; यत् (yat) - which; वरिष्ठं (variṣṭham) - supreme; प्रजानाम् (prajānām) - of beings; यत् (yat) - which; अर्चिमत् (arcimat) - radiant; यत् (yat) - which; अणुभ्यः (aṇubhyaḥ) - than the minute particles; अणु (aṇu) - atom; च (ca) - and; यस्मिन् (yasmin) - in which; लोकाः (lokāḥ) - worlds; निहिताः (nihitāḥ) - are placed; लोकिनः (lokinaḥ) - inhabitants; च (ca) - and;]
Understand this as the most excellent reality beyond mastered-knowledge, supreme among beings, radiant and subtler than minute particles, in which all worlds and their inhabitants reside.
Bhāshya 4.02
Beyond 'vijñānā' i.e. mastered-knowledge or science, is the ultimate Brahman. A testimonial from Bhāgavata Purāṇa is provided to elaborate on this aspect.
विज्ञानाद् ब्रह्मणः परम्।
vijñānād brahmaṇaḥ param।
[विज्ञानात् (vijñānāt) - from mastered-knowledge; ब्रह्मणः (brahmaṇaḥ) - of Brahman; परम् (param) - beyond;]
Beyond 'vijñānā' i.e. mastered-knowledge, is the ultimate Brahman.
"नाभिहृदादिह सतोऽम्भसि यस्य पुंसो विज्ञानशक्तिरहमासमनन्तशक्तेः।"
"nābhihṛdādiha sato'mbhasi yasya puṃso vijñānaśaktirahamasamanantaśakteḥ।"
[नाभि (nābhi) - navel; हृद (hṛd) - heart; आदि (ādi) - beginning; इह (iha) - here; सतः (sataḥ) - of the being; अम्भसि (ambhasi) - in the water; यस्मिन् (yasmin) - in whom; पुंसः (puṃsaḥ) - of the man; विज्ञान (vijñāna) - knowledge; शक्ति (śakti) - power; अहम् (aham) - I; आसम् (āsam) - I was / to be; अनन्त (ananta) - infinite; शक्तेः (śakteḥ) - of power;]
"At the beginning of the universe, in the primordial waters, at the navel and heart of existence, I embodied the power of knowledge of the infinitely powerful being."
इति भागवते।
iti bhāgavate।
[इति (iti) - thus; भागवते (bhāgavate) - in the Bhāgavata Purāṇa;]

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
