atraite ślokāḥ bhavanti ।
[अत्र (atra) - here; एते (ete) - these; श्लोकाः (ślokāḥ) - verses; भवन्ति (bhavanti) - are;]
Therefore, are these verses:
ओङ्कारं पादशो विद्यात् पादा मात्रा न संशयः । ओङ्कारं पादशो ज्ञात्वा न किञ्चिदपि चिन्तयेत् ॥२॥
oṅkāraṃ pādaśo vidyāt pādā mātrā na saṃśayaḥ । oṅkāraṃ pādaśo jñātvā na kiñcidapi cintayet ॥2॥
[ओङ्कारं (oṅkāram) - the syllable Om; पादशः (pādaśaḥ) - by quarters; विद्यात् (vidyāt) - one should know; पादा (pādā) - quarters; मात्रा (mātrā) - measures; न (na) - not; संशयः (saṃśayaḥ) - doubt; ओङ्कारं (oṅkāram) - the syllable Om; पादशः (pādaśaḥ) - by quarters; ज्ञात्वा (jñātvā) - having known; न (na) - not; किञ्चिदपि (kiñcidapi) - anything at all; चिन्तयेत् (cintayet) - should think;]
One should understand the syllable Om in its four quarters, with its measures, without any doubt. Having realized Om in its quarters, one should not contemplate anything else.
