Kāthakopaniṣat Bhāshya (काठकोपनिषत् )
2.3.14
yadā sarve pramucyante kāmā ye'sya hṛdi sthitāḥ। atha martyo'mṛto bhavati atra brahma samaśnute ॥14॥
When all desires residing in the heart are relinquished, the mortal becomes immortal and attains Brahman here.
Bhāṣya 2.3.14
Renouncing the desires of the inner mind reveals the consciousness of the Ātmān.
antaḥkaraṇakāmānāṃ tyāgo vyaktiścidātmānām। kāmānāṃ tu tadā muktau mṛtiṃ naivābhi yāsyati॥
Renouncing the desires of the inner mind reveals the consciousness of the Ātmān. However, in liberation, one does not encounter death or desires.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
