न सन्दृशे तिष्ठति रूपमस्य न चक्षुषा पश्यति कश्चिदेनम्। हृदा मनीषा मनसाऽभिक्लृप्तो य एनं विदुरमृतास्ते भवन्ति ॥९॥
na sandṛśe tiṣṭhati rūpamasya na cakṣuṣā paśyati kaścid enam। hṛdā manīṣā manasā'bhiklṛpto ya enaṃ vidur amṛtās te bhavanti ॥9॥
[न (na) - not; सन्दृशे (sandṛśe) - in the visible; तिष्ठति (tiṣṭhati) - abides; रूपम् (rūpam) - form; अस्य (asya) - of this; न (na) - not; चक्षुषा (cakṣuṣā) - with the eye; पश्यति (paśyati) - sees; कश्चित् (kaścit) - anyone; एनम् (enam) - this; हृदा (hṛdā) - by the heart; मनीषा (manīṣā) - by wisdom; मनसा (manasā) - by the mind; अभिक्लृप्तः (abhiklṛptaḥ) - well grasped; यः (yaḥ) - who; एनम् (enam) - this; विदुः (viduḥ) - know; अमृताः (amṛtāḥ) - immortal; ते (te) - they; भवन्ति (bhavanti) - become;]
The true form of this is not visible and cannot be seen with the eyes. It is understood by the heart, wisdom, and mind. Those who realize this truth become immortal.
Bhāṣya 2.3.09
Testimonial continues to elaborate - "Lord Vishnu is seen through the vision of knowledge alone, not by the corrupt senses."
"प्रादुर्भावानृते विष्णुं इन्द्रियैः नैव पश्यति। प्रादुर्भावानपि यदा ज्ञानदृष्ट्यैव पश्यति। तदैव मुच्यते योगी न दुष्टैरिन्द्रियैः क्वचित्॥"
"prādurbhāvānṛte viṣṇuṃ indriyaiḥ naiva paśyati। prādurbhāvānapi yadā jñānadṛṣṭyaiva paśyati। tadaiva mucyate yogī na duṣṭairindriyaiḥ kvacit॥"
[प्रादुर्भावानृते (prādurbhāvānṛte) - without manifestation; विष्णुं (viṣṇuṃ) - Viṣṇu; इन्द्रियैः (indriyaiḥ) - by senses; नैव (naiva) - not at all; पश्यति (paśyati) - sees; प्रादुर्भावानपि (prādurbhāvānapi) - even with manifestation; यदा (yadā) - when; ज्ञानदृष्ट्यैव (jñānadṛṣṭyaiva) - by the vision of knowledge; पश्यति (paśyati) - sees; तदैव (tadaiva) - then only; मुच्यते (mucyate) - is liberated; योगी (yogī) - the yogi; न (na) - not; दुष्टैरिन्द्रियैः (duṣṭairindriyaiḥ) - by corrupted senses; क्वचित् (kvacit) - anywhere;]
"Unmanifest Lord Viṣṇu is not seen by the senses. Even with manifestation, when seen through the vision of knowledge, then only the yogi is liberated, not by any of the corrupted senses."
