Kāthakopaniṣat Bhāshya (काठकोपनिषत् )
2.1.07
या प्राणेन सम्विशत्यदितिर्देवतामयी। गुहां प्रविश्य तिष्ठन्तीं या भूतेभिर्व्यजायत। एतद्वै तत् ॥७॥
yā prāṇena samviśatyaditirdevatāmayī। guhāṃ praviśya tiṣṭhantīṃ yā bhūtebhirvyajāyata। etadvai tat ॥7॥
[या (yā) - who; प्राणेन (prāṇena) - by the breath; सम्विशति (samviśati) - enters; अदितिः (aditir) - one who is unbound; देवतामयी (devatāmayī) - supreme among the gods; गुहाम् (guhām) - cave; प्रविश्य (praviśya) - having entered; तिष्ठन्तीम् (tiṣṭhantīm) - standing; या (yā) - who; भूतेभिः (bhūtebhiḥ) - among the beings; व्यजायत (vyajāyata) - manifested; एतत् (etat) - this; वै (vai) - indeed; तत् (tat) - that;]
The One who is unbound, the supreme among the gods, enters the cave of the heart along with life force ('prāṇa') and stands among the manifested beings. This is indeed that ultimate reality.
Bhāṣya 2.1.07
'devatāmayī' - supreme among gods. The Supreme Being, Lord Maha-Vishnu, is situated in the heart cave of creating beings. He situates himself along with the life force ('prāṇa') to consume.
"अदनादितिर्विष्णुः यः प्राणसहितः स्थितः। उत्तमो देवताभ्यश्च सोऽत्मानं विविधात्मना॥
"adanāditirviṣṇuḥ yaḥ prāṇasahitaḥ sthitaḥ। uttamo devatābhyaśca so'tmānaṃ vividhātmanā॥
[अदनात् (adanāt) - from eating / consume; अिति (iti) - thus; विष्णुः (viṣṇuḥ) - Vishnu; यः (yaḥ) - who; प्राणसहितः (prāṇasahitaḥ) - with life force; स्थितः (sthitaḥ) - remains; उत्तमः (uttamaḥ) - supreme; देवताभ्यः (devatābhyaḥ) - among gods; च (ca) - and; सः (saḥ) - he; आत्मानं (ātmānaṃ) - self; विविधात्मना (vividhātmanā) - in various forms;]
मत्स्यकूर्मादिरूपेण गुहासंस्थमजीजनत्। भूतैस्सह महाविष्णुः परमात्मा युगे युगे॥"
matsyakūrmādirūpeṇa guhāsaṃsthamajījanat। bhūtaissaha mahāviṣṇuḥ paramātmā yuge yuge॥"
[मत्स्य (matsya) - fish; कूर्म (kūrma) - tortoise; आदि (ādi) - etc.; रूपेण (rūpeṇa) - in the form of; गुहा (guhā) - cave of heart; संस्थम् (saṃstham) - situated; अजीजनत् (ajījanat) - created; भूतैः (bhūtaiḥ) - with beings; सह (saha) - with; महाविष्णुः (mahāviṣṇuḥ) - the great Vishnu; परमात्मा (paramātmā) - the supreme soul; युगे (yuge) - in ages; युगे (yuge) - in ages;]
"Lord Vishnu is situated along with 'prāṇa', i.e. life force, to consume. He is supreme among the gods and manifests himself in various forms.
In every age, the Supreme Being, Lord Maha-Vishnu, incarnates in various forms like fish, tortoise, etc. and is situated in the heart cave of creating beings."

देवतामयी देवतोत्तमा। प्राणेन सहितो भवति। गुहां प्रविश्य तिष्ठन्तं स्वात्मानं भूतैस्सह विविधं जनयामास ॥७॥
devatāmayī devatottamā। prāṇena sahito bhavati। guhāṃ praviśya tiṣṭhantaṃ svātmānaṃ bhūtaissaha vividhaṃ janayāmāsa ॥7॥
[देवतामयी (devatāmayī) - consisting of gods; देवतोत्तमा (devatottamā) - best among gods; प्राणेन (prāṇena) - with breath; सहितः (sahitaḥ) - together; भवति (bhavati) - becomes; गुहाम् (guhām) - cave; प्रविश्य (praviśya) - entering; तिष्ठन्तम् (tiṣṭhantam) - standing; स्वात्मानम् (svātmānam) - own self; भूतैः (bhūtaiḥ) - with beings; सह (saha) - together; विविधम् (vividham) - various; जनयामास (janayāmāsa) - created;]
The word 'devatāmayī' implies supreme among gods. He, together with 'prāṇa', i.e. life force. The phrase 'guhāṃ praviśya tiṣṭhant', i.e. 'Entering the cave, standing' means He himself, entering the cave of the heart, stands together with various created beings.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
