Bhagavad Gīta Tātparya
B.G 2.61
तानि सर्वाणि संयम्य युक्त आसीत मत्परः। वशे हि यस्येंद्रियाणि तस्य प्रज्ञा प्रतिष्ठिता ॥६१॥
tāni sarvāṇi saṁyamya yukta āsīta matparaḥ। vaśē hi yasyēṁdriyāṇi tasya prajñā pratiṣṭhitā ॥61॥
[ तानि सर्वाणि संयम्य युक्त आसीत मत्परः। वशे हि यस्य इन्द्रियाणि तस्य प्रज्ञा प्रतिष्ठिता ॥६१॥
tāni = those (senses); sarvāṇi = all the; saṁyamya = keeping under restraint; yukta = is joined (Me in his mind); āsīta = situated, sit; matparaḥ = with the understanding that I am superior to everything else; vaśē = obtains control over; hi = certainly; yasya = whose; indriyāṇi = senses; tasya = his; prajñā = wisdom; pratiṣṭhitā = is steadfast;]
Having restrained all the senses, he should sit meditating on me with the understanding that I (lord Krishna) am superior to everything else. He certainly obtains control over his senses, and for such a person, wisdom is steadfast.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
