Bhagavad Gīta Tātparya
B.G 2.14
मात्रास्पर्शास्तु कौन्तेय शीतोष्णसुखदुःखदाः। आगमापायिनोऽनित्यास्तांस्तितिक्षस्व भारत ॥ २-१४॥
mātrāsparśāstu kauntēya śītōṣṇasukhaduḥkhadāḥ। āgamāpāyinō'nityāstāṁstitikṣasva bhārata ॥ 2-14॥
[mātrāsparśāstu = the contact of sense objects with senses; kauntēya = O Kunti's Son; śītōṣṇa = through sensation of cold and heat; sukhaduḥkhadāḥ = causes pleasure and pain; āgamāpāyinah = they come and go; anityāh = they are impermanent; tāṁstitikṣasva = just endure them with firmness; bhārata = Oh Arjuna;]
O Kunti's Son, the contact of sense objects with senses causes pleasure and pain through the sensation of cold and heat. They come and go and are impermanent. Oh Arjuna, just endure them with firmness.
Gīta Tātparya 2.14
It is attachment to topics, i.e., 'vishayasambhanda' that causes misery.
तददर्शनादिनिमित्तं सोढव्यमित्याह - मात्रास्पर्शा इति। विषयसम्बन्धाः ॥ १४ ॥
tadadarśanādinimittaṁ sōḍhavyamityāha - mātrāsparśā iti। viṣayasambandhāḥ ॥ 14 ॥
[tadadarśanādinimittaṁ sōḍhavyamityāha = if one says I grieve because I will not be able to see the relatives; mātrāsparśā iti = It is responded by stating ‘matrasparsha'; viṣayasambandhāḥ = It means attachment to topics;]
If one grieves because he cannot see his relatives, the cause is indicated by stating 'matrasparsha' (the contact of sense objects with senses). It means attachment to topics.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
