Bhagavad Gīta Bhāshya
B.G 6.37
अर्जुन उवाच
अयतिः श्रद्धयोपेतो योगाच्चलितमानसः। अप्राप्य योगसंसिद्धिं कां गतिं कृष्ण गच्छति ॥३७॥
arjuna uvāca
ayatiḥ śraddhayopeto yogāccalitamānasaḥ। aprāpya yogasaṁsiddhiṁ kāṁ gatiṁ kr̥ṣṇa gacchati ॥37॥
[अर्जुन उवाच, अयतिः श्रद्धया उपेतो योगात् चलित मानसः। अप्राप्य योगसंसिद्धिं कां गतिं कृष्ण गच्छति॥
अर्जुनः (arjunaḥ) - Arjuna; उवाच (uvāca) - said; अयतिः (ayatiḥ) - one who lacks perseverance; श्रद्धया (śraddhayā) - with faith; उपेतः (upetaḥ) - endowed; योगात् (yogāt) - from yoga; चलित (calita) - deviated; मानसः (mānasaḥ) - mind; अप्राप्य (aprāpya) - not attaining; योग-संसिद्धिम् (yoga-saṁsiddhim) - perfection in yoga; कां (kāṁ) - what; गतिम् (gatim) - destination; कृष्ण (kṛṣṇa) - O Krishna; गच्छति (gacchati) - does attain; ]
Arjuna said,
O Krishna, what is the destination of the person who, although endowed with faith, does not have perseverance, whose mind deviates from yoga and thus fails to achieve perfection in yoga?
Gīta Bhāshya 6.37
'ayati' - one who is not endeavoring.
अयतिः अप्रयत्नः ॥३७॥
ayatiḥ aprayatnaḥ ॥37॥
[अयतिः (ayatiḥ) - the word 'ayati' refers to; अप्रयत्नः (aprayatnaḥ) - one who is without effort or not endeavoring;]
The word 'ayati' refers to one who is without effort or not endeavoring.

सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
