Bhagavad Gīta Bhāshya and Tātparya
B.G 18.24
यत्तु कामेप्सुना कर्म साहङ्कारेण वा पुनः। क्रियते बहुलायासं तद्राजसमुदाहृतम् ॥२४॥
yattu kāmepsunā karma sāhaṅkāreṇa vā punaḥ। kriyate bahulāyāsaṃ tadrājasamudāhṛtam ॥24॥
[यत् (yat) - that which; तु (tu) - but; कामेप्सुना (kāmepsunā) - with desire; कर्म (karma) - action; सह (saha) - with; अहङ्कारेण (ahaṅkāreṇa) - ego; वा (vā) - or; पुनः (punaḥ) - again; क्रियते (kriyate) - is performed; बहुलायासं (bahulāyāsaṃ) - with much effort; तत् (tat) - that; राजसम् (rājasam) - in the mode of passion; उदाहृतम् (udāhṛtam) - is declared;]
But that action which is performed with desire or with ego, again with much effort, that is declared to be in the mode of 'rājas', i.e. passion.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
