Bhagavad Gīta Bhāshya and Tātparya
B.G 18.09
कार्यमित्येव यत् कर्म नियतं क्रियतेऽर्जुन। सङ्गं त्यक्त्वा फलं चैव स त्यागः सात्त्विको मतः ॥९॥
kāryamityeva yat karma niyataṃ kriyate'rjuna। saṅgaṃ tyaktvā phalaṃ caiva sa tyāgaḥ sāttviko mataḥ ॥9॥
[कार्यम् (kāryam) - duty; इति (iti) - thus; एव (eva) - indeed; यत् (yat) - which; कर्म (karma) - action; नियतं (niyatam) - prescribed; क्रियते (kriyate) - is performed; अर्जुन (arjuna) - Arjuna; सङ्गं (saṅgam) - attachment; त्यक्त्वा (tyaktvā) - having abandoned; फलं (phalam) - fruit; च (ca) - and; एव (eva) - indeed; सः (saḥ) - that; त्यागः (tyāgaḥ) - relinquishment; सात्त्विकः (sāttvikaḥ) - in the mode of goodness; मतः (mataḥ) - is considered;]
O Arjuna, when an action is performed as a duty without any attachment or expectation of results, such relinquishment is regarded as being in the mode of 'sāttva', i.e. goodness.
न द्वेष्ट्यकुशलं कर्म कुशले नानुषज्जते। त्यागी सत्त्वसमाविष्टो मेधावी छिन्नसंशयः ॥१०॥
na dveṣṭyakusalaṃ karma kuśale nānuṣajjate। tyāgī sattvasamāviṣṭo medhāvī chinnasaṃśayaḥ ॥10॥
[न (na) - not; द्वेष्टि (dveṣṭi) - hates; अकुशलं (akusalaṃ) - unskilled; कर्म (karma) - action; कुशले (kuśale) - in skilled; न (na) - not; अनुषज्जते (anuṣajjate) - attached; त्यागी (tyāgī) - relinquisher; सत्त्वसमाविष्टः (sattvasamāviṣṭaḥ) - endowed with purity; मेधावी (medhāvī) - wise; छिन्नसंशयः (chinnasaṃśayaḥ) - doubtless;]
The wise relinquisher, filled with purity and free from doubts, neither hates unskilled actions nor is attached to skilled ones.
Gīta Tātparya 18.9 and 10
One who truly understands the essence of Vishnu does not despise unskillful actions that bring visible suffering, nor does he become attached to the transient nature of sattvic virtues performed in the past. When one is free from the desire for results, their actions do not bind them. Otherwise, even a slight fault is directly perceived.
"न द्वेष्ट्यकुशलं कर्म केवलं दृष्टदुःखदम्। जन्मान्तरकृते पुण्ये न सज्जेत् सात्त्विकश्चले। यः सम्यक् तत्त्ववित् विष्णोः तदर्पणधियैव तु॥"
na dveṣṭyakusalaṃ karma kevalaṃ dṛṣṭaduḥkhadam। janmāntarakṛte puṇye na sajjeta sāttvikaścale। yaḥ samyak tattvavit viṣṇoḥ tadarpaṇadhiyaiva tu॥
[न (na) - not; द्वेष्टि (dveṣṭi) - hates; अकुशलं (akusalaṃ) - unskillful; कर्म (karma) - action; केवलं (kevalaṃ) - only; दृष्टदुःखदम् (dṛṣṭaduḥkhadam) - causing visible suffering; जन्मान्तरकृते (janmāntarakṛte) - done in another life; पुण्ये (puṇye) - in virtue; न (na) - not; सज्जेत् (sajjeta) - attached; सात्त्विकश्चले (sāttvikaścale) - in the unstable sattvic; यः (yaḥ) - who; सम्यक् (samyak) - properly; तत्त्ववित् (tattvavit) - knower of truth; विष्णोः (viṣṇoḥ) - of Vishnu; तदर्पणधियैव (tadarpaṇadhiyaiva) - with the thought of offering that; तु (tu) - indeed;]
"One who truly understands the essence of Vishnu does not despise unskillful actions that bring visible suffering, nor does he become attached to the transient nature of sattvic virtues performed in past lives. Instead, he offers everything to Vishnu with a dedicated mind."
फलेच्छावर्जितः तस्य कर्म बन्धाय नो भवेत्। बहुलं चेदल्पदोषं यावदेवापरोक्षदृक्॥
phaleccāvarjitaḥ tasya karma bandhāya no bhavet। bahulaṃ cedalpadoṣaṃ yāvadevāparokṣadṛk॥
[फलेच्छा (phaleccā) - desire for fruits; वर्जितः (varjitaḥ) - devoid of; तस्य (tasya) - his; कर्म (karma) - action; बन्धाय (bandhāya) - for bondage; नो (no) - not; भवेत् (bhavet) - becomes; बहुलं (bahulaṃ) - abundant; चेत् (cet) - if; अल्पदोषं (alpadoṣaṃ) - slight fault; यावत् (yāvat) - as long as; एव (eva) - indeed; अपरोक्षदृक् (aparokṣadṛk) - direct perception;]
When one is free from the desire for results, their actions do not bind them. Otherwise, even among many actions, as long as there is only a slight fault, it is directly perceived.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
