Bhagavad Gīta Bhāshya and Tātparya
B.G 17.14
देवद्विजगुरुप्राज्ञपूजनं शौचमार्जवम्। ब्रह्मचर्यमहिंसा च शारीरं तप उच्यते ॥१४॥
devadvijaguruprajñapūjanaṁ śaucamārjavam। brahmacaryamahiṁsā ca śārīraṁ tapa ucyate ॥14॥
[देव (deva) - god; द्विज (dvija) - twice-born; गुरु (guru) - teacher; प्राज्ञ (prajña) - wise; पूजनं (pūjanaṁ) - worship; शौच (śauca) - purity; मार्जवम् (mārjavam) - simplicity; ब्रह्मचर्य (brahmacarya) - celibacy; अहिंसा (ahiṁsā) - non-violence; च (ca) - and; शारीरं (śārīraṁ) - bodily; तप (tapa) - austerity; उच्यते (ucyate) - is called;]
The worship of gods, the twice-born, teachers, and the wise, along with purity, simplicity, celibacy, and non-violence, is considered as bodily austerity.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
