Bhagavad Gīta Bhāshya and Tātparya
B.G 15.07
ममैवांशो जीवलोके जीवभूतः सनातनः। मनःषष्ठानींद्रियाणि प्रकृतिस्थानि कर्षति ॥७॥
mamaivāṃśo jīvaloke jīvabhūtaḥ sanātanaḥ। manaḥṣaṣṭhānīṃdriyāṇi prakṛtisthāni karṣati ॥7॥
[मम (mama) - my; एव (eva) - indeed; अंशः (aṃśaḥ) - a part; जीवलोके (jīvaloke) - in the world of living beings; जीवभूतः (jīvabhūtaḥ) - the living entity; सनातनः (sanātanaḥ) - eternal; मनः (manaḥ) - mind; षष्ठानि (ṣaṣṭhāni) - the six; इंद्रियाणि (indriyāṇi) - senses; प्रकृतिस्थानि (prakṛtisthāni) - situated in material nature; कर्षति (karṣati) - employs;]
Indeed, an eternal fragment of myself becomes a living entity in the world of living beings and employs the six senses, including the mind, which are situated in material nature.
Gīta Tātparya 15.07
Testimonial continues elaborating - "Though different, because of a small resemblance, the beings are considered as if they were a part."
"किञ्चित् सादृश्यमात्रेण भिन्नोऽप्यंश इवोच्यते। ईश्वरस्तु यदा त्वस्य शरीरं विशति प्रभुः। मनःपष्ठानींद्रियाणि प्रकृतिस्थानि कर्षति। शब्दादीन् प्रति ... ॥ ७ ॥"
"kiñcit sādṛśyamātreṇa bhinno'pyaṁśa ivocyate। īśvarastu yadā tvasya śarīraṃ viśati prabhuḥ। manaḥpaṣṭhānīṃdriyāṇi prakṛtisthāni karṣati। śabdādīn prati ... ॥ 7 ॥"
[किञ्चित् (kiñcit) - a little; सादृश्यमात्रेण (sādṛśyamātreṇa) - by mere resemblance; भिन्नः (bhinnaḥ) - different; अपि (api) - even; अंशः (aṁśaḥ) - part; इव (iva) - as if; उच्यते (ucyate) - is said; ईश्वरः (īśvaraḥ) - the Lord; तु (tu) - but; यदा (yadā) - when; तस्य (tasya) - his; शरीरं (śarīraṃ) - body; विशति (viśati) - enters; प्रभुः (prabhuḥ) - the master; मनः (manaḥ) - mind; पष्ठानी (paṣṭhānī) - six; इंद्रियाणि (indriyāṇi) - senses; प्रकृतिस्थानि (prakṛtisthāni) - situated in nature; कर्षति (karṣati) - draws; शब्दादीन् (śabdādīn) - towards sound, etc.; प्रति (prati) - towards;]
"Though different, because of a small resemblance, they are considered as if they were a part. However, when the Lord enters the beings, He, the master, draws the mind and the six senses, which are situated in nature, towards sound and other objects. ..."

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
