That Kingly knowledge is revealed stating - the Universe is pervaded by the Lord, 'mayā' (By Me). It is also the kingly secret because it is not perceived by the ordinary as it is in an unmanifest form, 'avyakta-mūrtinā'.
तद् ज्ञानाद्याह - मयेति। तर्हि किमिति न दृश्यते इत्यत आह - अव्यक्तमूर्तिनेति ॥४॥
tad jñānādyāha - mayeti। tarhi kimiti na dr̥śyate ityata āha - avyaktamūrtineti ॥4॥
[तत् (tat) - that; ज्ञानात् (jñānāt) - from knowledge; आह (āha) - he said, it is stated; मया (mayā) - by me; इति (iti) - thus; तर्हि (tarhi) - then; किम् (kim) - why; इति (iti) - thus; न (na) - not; दृश्यते (dṛśyate) - is seen; इत्यतः (ityataḥ) - therefore; आह (āha) - it is said; अव्यक्तमूर्तिना (avyakta-mūrtinā) - in an unmanifest form;]
That (kingly) knowledge is stated as 'mayā', i.e. "by Me." Then, why is it not seen? Because, it is said - 'avyakta-mūrtinā', i.e. "in an unmanifest form."
