Chapter Five - Vāsudēvāparimēyasudhāman (पञ्चमोध्यायः - वासुदेवापरिमेयसुधामन् )
वासुदेवापरिमेयसुधामन् शुद्धसदोदित सुन्दरीकान्त। धराधरधारणवेधुरधर्तः सौधृतिदीधितिवेधृविधातः ॥१॥
O Vāsudeva, whose splendid radiance is immeasurable, pure and ever manifest, beloved of Sundarī, adept bearer of the mountain, creator of steadfastness, radiance, and the Creator... (1)

अधिक बन्धं रन्धय बोधाच्छिन्धि पिधानं बन्धुरमद्धा। केशव केशव शासक वन्दे पाशधरार्चित शूरवरेश ॥२॥
O Supreme One, destroy bondage; indeed, cut the close-fitting covering away from understanding. O Keśava, Keśava, ruler, I bow to you, worshipped by the bearer of the noose, lord of the foremost heroes. (2)

नारायणामल कारण वन्दे कारण कारण पूर्णवरेण्य। माधव माधव साधक वन्दे बाधक बोधक शुद्धसमाधे ॥३॥
I revere you, O Nārāyaṇa, stainless cause and cause of causes, the perfect and most excellent one. I revere you, O Mādhava, O Mādhava, accomplisher, restrainer, enlightener, whose concentration is pure. (3)

गोविन्द गोविन्द पुरन्दर वन्दे स्कन्दसुनन्दनवन्दितपाद। विष्णो सृजिष्णो ग्रसिष्णो विवन्दे कृष्ण सदुष्णवधिष्णो सुधृष्णो ॥४॥
Govinda, Govinda, destroyer of strongholds, I praise you, whose feet are revered by Skanda and Sunandana. O Vishnu, creator and devourer, I revere you—O Krishna, slayer of Saduṣṇa, most daring one. (4)

मधुसूदन दानवसादन वन्दे दैवतमोदित वेदितपाद। त्रिविक्रम निष्क्रम विक्रम वन्दे सङ्क्रम सुक्रम हुङ्कृतवक्त्र ॥५॥
O Madhusūdana, destroyer of Dānavas, I praise you—gladdener of the gods, whose feet are known. O Trivikrama, who strides forth with mighty steps, I praise you—who strides across with excellent strides, whose face utters “hūṃ.” (5)

वामन वामन भामन वन्दे सामन सीमन सामन सानो। श्रीधर श्रीधर शन्धर वन्दे भूधर वार्धर कन्धरधारिन् ॥६॥
O Vāmana, Vāmana, radiant one, I praise you; O sacred chant, boundary, sacred chant, and summit. O Śrīdhara, Śrīdhara, bearer of well-being, I praise you; O bearer of the earth, bearer of water, and bearer upon the shoulder. (6)

हृषीकेश सुकेश परेश विवन्दे शरणेश कलेश बलेश सुखेश। पद्मनाभ शुभोद्भव वन्दे सम्भृतलोकभराभर भूरे। दामोदर दूरतरान्तर वन्दे दारितपारगपाद परस्मात् ॥७॥
Hṛṣīkeśa, beautiful-haired one and supreme Lord, I bow reverently to you—the Lord of refuge, the arts, strength, and happiness. Padmanābha, source of auspiciousness, I bow to you, bountiful bearer of the burden of the worlds you sustain. Dāmodara, more distant than the highest yet innermost, I bow to you, whose foot passed beyond the boundary it had pierced. (7)

आनन्दतीर्थमुनीन्द्रकृता हरिगीतिरियं परमादरतः। परलोकवलिोकनसूर्यनिभा हरिभक्तिविवर्धनशौण्डतमा ॥८॥
This song of Hari, composed with the highest devotion by the eminent sage Ānandatīrtha, is like the sun for seeing the next world and is supremely effective in increasing devotion to Hari. (8)
