नमामि निखिलाधीशकिरीटाघृष्टपीठवत्। हृत्तमःशमनेर्काभं श्रीपतेः पादपङ्कजम् ॥२॥

namāmi nikhilādhiśakiriṭāghṛṣṭapīṭhavat। hṛttamaḥśamanerkābhaṃ śrīpateḥ pādapaṅkajam ॥2॥

[नमामि (namāmi) - I bow; निखिल (nikhila) - all; अधीश (adhiśa) - lords; किरीट (kiriṭa) - crowns; आघृष्ट (āghṛṣṭa) - rubbed; पीठवत् (pīṭhavat) - like a seat; हृत् (hṛt) - heart; तमः (tamaḥ) - darkness; शम (śama) - pacifying; अनर्क (anarka) - sun-like; आभं (ābhaṃ) - having the radiance; श्रीपतेः (śrīpateḥ) - of the Lord of Lakṣmī; पाद (pāda) - feet; पङ्कजम् (paṅkajam) - lotus;]

(I bow to the lotus feet of the Lord of Lakṣmī, which, like a seat rubbed by the crowns of all lords, have the radiance of the sun that pacifies the darkness of the heart.)

I bow to the lotus feet of the Lord of Lakṣmī, which, like a seat polished by the crowns of all rulers, shine like the sun that dispels the darkness of the heart.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
