Tattva Saṅkhyānam
T.S 05 and 06
dēvarṣipitr̥panarā iti muktāstu pañcadhā । ēvaṁ vimuktiyōgyāśca tamōgāḥ sr̥tisaṁsthitāḥ ॥5॥
iti dvidhā muktyayōgyā daityarakṣapiśācakāḥ। martyādhamāścaturdhaiva tamōyōgyāḥ prakīrtitāḥ ॥6॥
Those who are already liberated and those who are suitable for liberation are further classified into five types: Gods, Sages, Pitrus, Emperors, and Supreme humans. Two-fold are those that are not eligible for liberation: those in darkness, and those still in the cycle of existence. They are further described to be of four types: Daityas, Rakshasas, Pishachas, and the lowest among mortals.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
