Tantrasāra Saṅgraha

विधिं विधाय सर्गादौ तेन पृष्टोब्जलोचनः। प्राह देवो रमोत्सङ्गवलिसत्पादपल्लवः ॥२॥

vidhiṁ vidhāya sargādau tēna pr̥ṣṭōbjalōcanaḥ। prāha dēvō ramōtsaṅgavalisatpādapallavaḥ ॥2॥

[vidhiṁ = method; vidhāya = instructed; sargādau = at the beginning of the creation; tēna =then;pr̥ṣṭōbjalōcanaḥ = lotus eyed; prāha = spoke; dēvō = the lord; ramōtsaṅgavalisatpādapallavaḥ = whose lotus feets was glittering sheltered by in the lap of goddess Rama;]

At the dawn of creation, the lotus eyed Lord instructed the method. The lord whose lotus feet sparkled, sheltered in the lap of the goddess Rama, spoke these words.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
