Shaṭpraśnopaniṣat Bhāshya (षट्प्रश्नोपनिषद्भाष्यं)
Shat.Upa 01.04
He creates a pair, namely 'rayi', i.e. wealth, and 'prāṇa', i.e. life, signifying that these two will generate my offspring in various forms. The sun represents life, while the moon embodies wealth.
Bhāṣya 01.04
Entering them, Lord Vishnu himself, the unborn, does all creation.
He, the supreme god, created the wind named 'sūrya', and the cold named 'Saraswati' and made them enter the sun and the moon, respectively. Entering them, Lord Vishnu himself, the unborn, does all creation.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
