Shaṭpraśnopaniṣat Bhāshya (षट्प्रश्नोपनिषद्भाष्यं)
Shat.Upa 01.02
तान् ह स ऋषिरुवाच। भूय एव तपसा ब्रह्मचर्येण श्रद्धया संवत्सरं संवत्स्यथ। यथाकामं प्रश्नान् पृच्छत। यदि विज्ञास्यामः सर्वं ह वो वक्ष्याम इति ॥२॥
tān ha sa ṛṣiruvāca। bhūya eva tapasā brahmacaryeṇa śraddhayā saṃvatsaraṃ saṃvatsyatha। yathākāmaṃ praśnān pṛcchata। yadi vijñāsyāmaḥ sarvaṃ ha vo vakṣyāma iti ॥2॥
[तान् (tān) - them; ह (ha) - indeed; स (sa) - he; ऋषिः (ṛṣiḥ) - sage; उवाच (uvāca) - said; भूयः (bhūyaḥ) - again; एव (eva) - only; तपसा (tapasā) - by penance; ब्रह्मचर्येण (brahmacaryeṇa) - by celibacy; श्रद्धया (śraddhayā) - with faith; संवत्सरम् (saṃvatsaram) - year; संवत्स्यथ (saṃvatsyatha) - you shall live; यथाकामम् (yathākāmam) - as you desire; प्रश्नान् (praśnān) - questions; पृच्छत (pṛcchata) - ask; यदि (yadi) - if; विज्ञास्यामः (vijñāsyāmaḥ) - we know; सर्वम् (sarvam) - everything; ह (ha) - indeed; वः (vaḥ) - to you; वक्ष्याम (vakṣyāma) - we shall tell; इति (iti) - thus;]
The sage instructed them to live for a year practicing penance, celibacy, and faith, and then to ask any questions they desired. He assured them that if the revered one knew, he would indeed share it with them.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
