Kāthakopaniṣat Bhāshya (काठकोपनिषत् )

आत्मानं रथिनं विद्धि शरीरं रथमेव च। बुद्धिं तु सारथिं विद्धि मनः प्रग्रहमेव च ॥३॥

ātmānaṁ rathinaṁ viddhi śarīraṁ rathameva ca। buddhiṁ tu sārathiṁ viddhi manaḥ pragrahameva ca ॥3॥

[आत्मानम् (ātmānam) - the ātmān; रथिनम् (rathinam) - as the rider; विद्धि (viddhi) - know; शरीरम् (śarīram) - the body; रथमिव (ratham eva) - as the chariot; च (ca) - and; बुद्धिम् (buddhim) - the intellect; तु (tu) - but; सारथिम् (sārathim) - as the charioteer; विद्धि (viddhi) - know; मनः (manaḥ) - the mind; प्रग्रहम् (pragraham) - as the reins; एव (eva) - indeed; च (ca) - and;]

Know the Ātmān, i.e. being, as the rider, the body indeed as the chariot; know the intellect as the charioteer and the mind as the reins.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
