Kāthakopaniṣat Bhāshya (काठकोपनिषत् )

स त्वं प्रिया प्रियरूपांश्च कामान् अभिध्यायन् नचिकेतोत्यस्राक्षीः। नैतां सृङ्कां वित्तमयीमवाप्तो यस्यां मज्जन्ति बहवो मनुष्याः ॥३॥

You, O Naciketas, contemplating desirable and pleasing enjoyments, have transcended them. You did not accept this chain made of wealth, in which many human beings sink.

'śṛṅkāṁ' - chain, fetter, or succession of binding.

शृङ्कां शृङ्कलाम्॥

The word 'śṛṅkāṁ' means chain, fetter, or succession of binding.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
