देवैरत्रापि विचिकित्सितं किल त्वं च मृत्यो यन्न सुज्ञेयमात्थ। वक्ता चास्य त्वादृगन्यो न लभ्यो नान्यो वरस्तुल्य एतस्य कश्चित् ॥२१॥

devair atrāpi vicikitsitaṁ kila tvaṁ ca mṛtyo yan na sujñeyam āttha. vaktā cāsya tvādṛg anyo na labhyo nānyo varas tulya etasya kaścit ॥21॥

[देवैः (devaiḥ) - by the gods; अत्र (atra) - in this matter; अपि (api) - even; विचिकित्सितम् (vicikitsitam) - was doubted; किल (kila) - indeed; त्वम् (tvam) - you; च (ca) - and; मृत्यो (mṛtyo) - O Death; यत् (yat) - which; न (na) - not; सुज्ञेयम् (sujñeyam) - easily understood; आत्थ (āttha) - you have said; वक्ता (vaktā) - speaker; च (ca) - and; अस्य (asya) - of this (truth); त्वादृक् (tvādṛk) - like you; अन्यः (anyaḥ) - another; न (na) - not; लभ्यः (labhyaḥ) - attainable; न (na) - not; अन्यः (anyaḥ) - another; वरः (varaḥ) - boon; तुल्यः (tulyaḥ) - equal; एतस्य (etasya) - to this; कश्चित् (kaścit) - anyone;]

This was indeed doubted even by the gods, O Death, and you have said it is not easily understood. No one like you can speak of it, and no other boon is equal to this one.
