Jayanti Nirnaya 09

"क्षीरोदार्णवसम्भूत अत्रिगोत्र समुद्भव। गृहाणार्घ्यं मया दत्तं रोहिण्या सहितः शशिन्॥"

"kṣīrōdārṇavasambhūta atrigōtra samudbhava। gr̥hāṇārghyaṁ mayā dattaṁ rōhiṇyā sahitaḥ śaśin॥"

[kṣīrōdārṇavasambhūta = He was born in the ocean of milk; atrigōtra samudbhava = and originated in the Atri clan; gr̥hāṇārghyaṁ mayā dattaṁ = please accept the arghya offered by me; rōhiṇyā sahitaḥ śaśin = O Moon along with Rohini star;]

"He was born in the milky ocean and is of Atri clan. O Moon along with Rohini star, please accept the 'Arghya' offered by me."

दत्वार्घ्यं मनुनानेनह्युपस्थाय विधुं बुधः ॥९॥

datvārghyaṁ manunānēna hyupasthāya vidhuṁ budhaḥ ॥9॥

[datvārghyaṁ = having given the Arghya; manunānēnahyupasthāya = to man, in this manner, attending on; vidhuṁ = moon; budhaḥ = the learned man;]

Having offered the 'Arghya' to Moon this way, the wise mans stands attending.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
