"jātaḥ kaṁsavadhārthāya bhūbhārōttāraṇāya ca। kauravāṇāṁ vināśāya daityānāṁ nidhanāya ca। pāṇḍavānāṁ hitārthāya dharmasaṁsthāpanāya ca। gr̥haṇārghyaṁ mayā dattaṁ dēvakyā sahitō harē॥"
O Hari, born to kill Kamsa, to lift the burden of the earth, for the destruction of the wicked, to bring death of the demons, for the wellbeing of the righteous, and for the establishment of righteousness, kindly accept the offering of Arghya given by me, along with mother Devakī.
॥8॥
Notes:
The verse "jātaḥ kaṁsavadhārthāya" is missing in "Hrishikesha" manuscript, though present in others. Thus, it may be later addition, based on the practices followed.
