Bhagavad Gīta Bhāshya and Tātparya
B.G 7.20
कामैस्तैस्तैर्हृतज्ञानाः प्रपद्यन्तेऽन्यदेवताः। तं तं नियममास्थाय प्रकृत्या नियताः स्वया ॥२०॥
kāmaistaistairhr̥tajñānāḥ prapadyante'nyadevatāḥ। taṁ taṁ niyamamāsthāya prakr̥tyā niyatāḥ svayā ॥20॥
[कामैः तैः तैः हृत ज्ञानाः प्रपद्यन्ते अन्य देवताः। तं तं नियमम् आस्थाय प्रकृत्या नियताः स्वया॥
कामैः (kāmaiḥ) - By desires; तैः तैः (taiḥ taiḥ) - By those and those; हृतज्ञानाः (hṛtajñānāḥ) - Whose knowledge has been stolen; प्रपद्यन्ते (prapadyante) - Surrender to; अन्यदेवताः (anyadevatāḥ) - Other deities; तं तं (taṁ taṁ) - That respective; नियमम् (niyamam) - Rule; discipline; आस्थाय (āsthāya) - Following; adopting; प्रकृत्या (prakṛtyā) - By nature; नियताः (niyatāḥ) - Bound; governed; स्वया (svayā) - By their own; ]
Being robbed of knowledge by very many desires, they surrender to other deities, observing various rules and regulations governed by their own nature.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
