Bhagavad Gīta Tātparya
B.G 6.01
श्री भगवानुवाच
अनाश्रितः कर्मफलं कार्यं कर्म करोति यः। स संन्यासी च योगी च न निरग्निर्न चाक्रियः ॥१॥
The revered Divine Lord said,
One who performs activities without seeking the fruits of the action is both a renunciant and a Yogi. Not he who is devoid of fire, as well as activities.
Gīta Tātparya 6.01
The method of meditation is explained exclusively in this chapter. The ascetics are not without sacrificial fire. Indeed, they are offering their own self as a sacrifice.
॥हरिः ॐ॥
Lord Hari oonly is Om!
ध्यानमत्रोच्यते।
The method of meditation is explained exclusively.
"स ब्रह्मनिष्ठस्तु यतिर्महात्मा शारीरमग्निंच मुखे जुहोति।"
"The great ascetic who is established in Brahman offers into the sacrificial fire of the body through his mouth." (For an ascetic, his body itself in the sacrificial fire, and food he eats through his mouth is like a sacrificial offering.)
इत्यादेः न यतेरपि अनग्नित्वम्। आत्मसमारोपणाच्च ॥१॥
Such testimonials indicate that ascetics are not without sacrificial fire. Indeed, they are offering their own self as a sacrifice.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
