Bhagavad Gīta Bhāshya and Tātparya
B.G 8.15
Having attained me, the great-souled ones do not undergo rebirth, which is the abode of suffering and is impermanent, for they have attained the supreme perfection.
Gīta Bhāshya 8.15
Attaining Lord Krishna (Me) is the supreme perfection! After that, there is no rebirth.
The attainment of that supreme goal is praised by the verse 'mām', i.e. attaining Me. The reason for this (i.e. not returning) is that they have indeed attained the supreme perfection by attaining Me, the lord.
