Bhagavad Gīta Bhāshya and Tātparya
B.G 2.51
कर्मजं बुद्धियुक्ता हि फलं त्यक्त्वा मनीषिणः। जन्मबन्धविनिर्मुक्ताः पदं गच्छन्त्यनामयम् ॥२-५१॥
karmajaṁ buddhiyuktā hi phalaṁ tyaktvā manīṣiṇaḥ। janmabandhavinirmuktāḥ padaṁ gacchantyanāmayam ॥2-51॥
[ कर्मजं बुद्धियुक्ता हि फलं त्यक्त्वा मनीषिणः। जन्म बन्ध विनिर्मुक्ताः पदं गच्छन्ति अनामयम्॥
karmajaṁ = perform action; buddhiyuktā = possessed with right knowledge; hi = certainly; phalaṁ = results; tyaktvā = relinquishing; manīṣiṇaḥ = great achievers; janma bandha = bondage that is the cause of birth; vinirmuktāḥ = becoming free; padaṁ = the ultimate goal; gacchanti = go to; anāmayam = without obstacles;]
The great achievers perform actions possessed with the right knowledge. Relinquishing the results, certainly they become free from the bondage that causes birth and reaches the ultimate goal without difficulty.
Gīta Bhāshya 2.51
Action performed with the right attitude leads to knowledge, that in turn leads to liberation. Relinquishing the results means offering it to the lord.
तदुपायमाह - कर्मजं इति॥ कर्मजं फलं त्यक्त्वा अकामनया ईश्वराय समर्प्य। बुदि्धयुक्ताः सम्यग्ज्ञानिनो भूत्वा पदं गच्छन्ति। संयोगकर्म ज्ञानसाधनम्, तत् मोक्षसाधनम् इति भावः ॥५१॥
tadupāyamāha - karmajaṁ iti॥ karmajaṁ phalaṁ tyaktvā akāmanayā īśvarāya samarpya। budidhayuktāḥ samyagjñāninō bhūtvā padaṁ gacchanti। saṁyōgakarma jñānasādhanam, tat mōkṣasādhanam iti bhāvaḥ ॥51॥
[tadupāyamāha = the solution is elaborated; karmajaṁ iti = by 'karmajaṁ' verse; karmajaṁ = actions; phalaṁ = results of; tyaktvā = relinquish; akāmanayā = without desire; īśvarāya = to the lord; samarpya = offer; budidhayuktāḥ = 'budidhayuktāḥ' means; samyagjñāninō = perfectly knowledgeable; bhūtvā = become; padaṁ gacchanti = attain the goal; saṁyōgakarma = action performed with the right attitude; jñānasādhanam = leads to knowledge; tat = that; mōkṣasādhanam = leads to liberation; iti bhāvaḥ= is the intended meaning;]
The solution is elaborated by 'karmajaṁ' verse. Perform actions without desire and relinquish the fruits of action by offering them to the lord. 'budidhayuktāḥ' - becoming perfectly knowledgeable one attains the goal. "Action performed with the right attitude leads to knowledge, that in turn leads to liberation" - is the intended meaning.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
