Bhagavad Gīta Bhāshya and Tātparya

Listen to me briefly as I describe that field, what it is like, what distortions it undergoes, from which influence and from whom.

Gīta Bhāshya 13.04

The being is addressed as 'yadvikāri' as it is associated with distortions, i.e. defects. The phrase 'yataś ca yat' is referred to that which drives the 'kṣetra', i.e. field. The phrase 'sa ca yaḥ' is referring to merely form.

The term 'sa ca' refers to the one who operates. The phrase 'yataś ca yat' is referred to that which drives the 'kṣetra', i.e. field. The phrase 'sa ca yaḥ' is referring to merely form.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
