Bhagavad Gīta Bhāshya and Tātparya
B.G 10.01
भूय एव महाबाहो शृृणु मे परमं वचः। यत्तेऽहं प्रीयमाणाय वक्ष्यामि हितकाम्यया ॥१॥
bhūya eva mahābāho śr̥r̥ṇu me paramaṁ vacaḥ। yatte'haṁ prīyamāṇāya vakṣyāmi hitakāmyayā ॥1॥
[भूयः (bhūyaḥ) - again; एव (eva) - indeed; महा-बाहो (mahā-bāho) - O mighty-armed one; शृणु (śṛṇu) - listen; मे (me) - to my; परमं (paramaṁ) - supreme; वचः (vacaḥ) - word (speech). यत् (yat) - which; ते (te) - to you; अहम् (aham) - I; प्रीयमाणाय (prīyamāṇāya) - who is becoming cheerful; वक्ष्यामि (vakṣyāmi) - will declare; हित-काम्यया (hita-kāmyayā) - out of desire for your welfare.]
O mighty-armed one who is becoming cheerful listening to me, listen again to my supreme word which I shall declare to you wishing for your welfare.
Gīta Bhāshya 10.01
For the purpose of worship, and to understand some special causes, this chapter declares certain divine manifestations. 'prīyamāṇāya' - the one who becomes joyful, up on listening.
उपासनार्थं विभूतिः विशेषकारणत्वं च केषाञ्चित् अनेन अध्यायेन आह।
upāsanārthaṁ vibhūtiḥ viśeṣakāraṇatvaṁ ca keṣāñcit anena adhyāyena āha।
[उपासनार्थं (upāsanārthaṁ) - for the purpose of meditation or worship; विभूतिः (vibhūtiḥ) - divine manifestations, glories; विशेष-कारणत्वं (viśeṣa-kāraṇatvaṁ) - the status of being a special cause or significant reason; च (ca) - and; केषाञ्चित् (keṣāñcit) - of certain beings or things; अनेन (anena) - by this; अध्यायेन (adhyāyena) - chapter; आह (āha) - [the Lord] declares.]

प्रीयमाणाय श्रुत्वा सन्तोषं प्राप्नुवते ॥१॥
prīyamāṇāya śrutvā santoṣaṁ prāpnuvate ॥1॥
[प्रीयमाणाय (prīyamāṇāya) - to one who is beloved; श्रुत्वा (śrutvā) - having heard; सन्तोषं (santoṣaṁ) - satisfaction, joy; प्राप्नुवते (prāpnuvate) - attains.]
The word 'prīyamāṇāya' is used to mean the one who becomes joyful up on listening.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
