Gīta Bhāshya 9.05
The secret phenomenon is unlike ordinary phenomenon perceived on earth. Even though all beings exist in the Lord, He is not in them. That entity is neither visible to the eye nor perceivable by touch. Comes to awareness and at the same time unaware. His very body is 'mahat', the manifest form of the universe.
मत्स्थत्वेऽपि यथा पृथिव्यां स्पृष्ट्वा स्थितानि न तथा मयि इत्याह - न चेति।
matsthatve'pi yathā pr̥thivyāṁ spr̥ṣṭvā sthitāni na tathā mayi ityāha - na ceti।
[मत्स्थत्वेऽपि (matsthattve'pi) - even in being situated in me; यथा (yathā) - just as; पृथिव्याम् (pṛthivyām) - on the earth; स्पृष्ट्वा (spṛṣṭvā) - touching, being in contact; स्थितानि (sthitāni) - remain, exist; न (na) - not; तथा (tathā) - in the same way; मयि (mayi) - in me; इति (iti) - thus; आह (āha) - it is said; न च (na ca) - not, and not;]
Even though all beings exist in Me, I do not remain in them as ordinarily perceived on the earth. Thus, it is said: "Not So!"

[सञ्ज्ञा (sañjñā) - consciousness, awareness, or designation; असञ्ज्ञ (asañjña) - lack of consciousness, unconsciousness;]
"Aware and at the same time unaware."

iti ca।
[इति (iti) - thus; च (ca) - and;]
- stated thus as well.
ममात्मा देह एव भूतभावनः।
mamātmā deha eva bhūtabhāvanaḥ।
[मम (mama) - my; आत्मा (ātmā) - self / essence; देहः (dehaḥ) - body; एव (eva) - indeed, only; भूतभावनः (bhūtabhāvanaḥ) - the creator or sustainer of beings;]

[महाविभूते (mahāvibhūte) - O great-glorious one; माहात्म्यशरीर (māhātmyasarīra) - whose body is the 'mahat', i.e. manifest form of the universe;]
"O great-glorious one, whose very body is 'mahat', the manifest form of the universe."
इति हि मोक्षधर्मे ॥५॥
iti hi mokṣadharme ॥5॥
[इति (iti) - thus; हि (hi) - indeed; मोक्षधर्मे (mokṣadharme) - in the Mokṣa Dharma; ५ (pañca) - five (verse number);]
