B.G 4.21
निराशीर्यतचित्तात्मा त्यक्तसर्वपरिग्रहः। शारीरं केवलं कर्म कुर्वन्नाप्नोति किल्बिषम् ॥२१॥
nirāśīryatacittātmā tyaktasarvaparigrahaḥ। śārīraṁ kevalaṁ karma kurvannāpnoti kilbiṣam ॥21॥
[निराशिः यत चित्त आत्मा त्यक्त सर्व परिग्रहः। शारीरं केवलं कर्म कुर्वन् न आप्नोति किल्बिषम्॥
nirāśiḥ = without desire; yata citta ātmā = having the mind that is without expectations; tyakta sarva parigrahaḥ = leaving all pride;। śārīraṁ = body; kevalaṁ = alone; karma = right actions/ deeds; kurvan = performing; na = not; āpnoti = attains; kilbiṣam = consequence of committing an offense;॥]
When a person engages the body to perform right deeds, having the mind without expectations, leaving all the ego, then he alone does not get affected by the consequences of deeds.
Gīta Bhāshya 4.21
Remedy to the problem of desire and other associated issues is given. 'yatacittātmā' - having mind without expectations. 'tyakta sarva parigrahaḥ' - leaving all ego. 'naiva kiñcit karoti' from the previous verse is further elaborated by stating 'nāpnoti kilbiṣam', i.e. the person in the stated purified mindset does not get bound by the consequences of karma.
कामादित्यागोपायमाह - निराशिः इति।
kāmādityāgopāyamāha - nirāśiḥ iti।

यतचित्तात्मा भूत्वा निराशिः इत्यर्थः। आत्मा मनः। परिग्रहत्यागः अनभिमानम्। 'नैव किञ्चित् करोति ' इत्यस्य अभिप्रायम् आह - नाप्नोति किल्बिषम् इति ॥२१॥
yatacittātmā bhūtvā nirāśiḥ ityarthaḥ। ātmā manaḥ। parigrahatyāgaḥ anabhimānam। 'naiva kiñcit karoti ' ityasya abhiprāyam āha - nāpnoti kilbiṣam iti ॥21॥
[yatacittātmā = 'yatacittātmā'; bhūtvā nirāśiḥ = becoming without expectation; ityarthaḥ = means;। ātmā = 'ātmā'; manaḥ = in this context means 'mind'; । parigrahatyāgaḥ = 'parigrahatyāgaḥ' means; anabhimānam = without ego;। 'naiva kiñcit karoti' ityasya abhiprāyam = the intended meaning of 'naiva kiñcit karoti' from the previous verse; āha = is explained by stating; - nāpnoti kilbiṣam = 'he does not obtain the consequences of committing an offense'; iti = thus;]
'yatacittātmā' means becoming without expectation. 'ātmā' in this context refers to the mind. 'parigrahatyāgaḥ', i.e. relinquishing the clinging, means without ego. The intended meaning of 'naiva kiñcit karoti' from the previous verse is elaborated further by stating 'nāpnoti kilbiṣam', i.e. 'he does not obtain the consequences of committing an offense'.
