Bhagavad Gīta Bhāshya
B.G 3.05
न हि कश्चित् क्षणमपि जातु तिष्ठत्यकर्मकृत्। कार्यते ह्यवशः कर्म सर्वः प्रकृतिजैर्गुणैः ॥५॥
na hi kaścit kṣaṇamapi jātu tiṣṭhatyakarmakr̥t। kāryatē hyavaśaḥ karma sarvaḥ prakr̥tijairguṇaiḥ ॥5॥
[न हि कश्चित् क्षणम् अपि जातु तिष्ठति अकर्मकृत्। कार्यते हि अवशः कर्म सर्वः प्रकृतिजैः गुणैः॥
na = not; hi = certainly; kaścit = anyone; kṣaṇam = moment; api = even; jātu = at any time; tiṣṭhati = stays; akarmakr̥t = without doing action; kāryatē = is forced to act; hi = certainly; avaśaḥ = under the control of lord Brahman ('a' means Brahman, refer to tatparya); karma = actions; sarvaḥ = all; prakr̥tijaiḥ = are born from Prakrti; guṇaiḥ = by qualities;]
No one can possibly remain actionless, even for a moment. Every one is driven to action by the qualities, born from Prakrti, which is under the control of the lord.
Gīta Bhāshya 3.05
It is not possible to renounce all actions.
न तु कर्माणि सर्वात्मना त्यक्तुं शक्यानि इत्याह - नहीति ॥५॥
na tu karmāṇi sarvātmanā tyaktuṁ śakyāni ityāha - nahīti ॥5॥
[na tu = it is not; karmāṇi = actions; sarvātmanā = all, by the one; tyaktuṁ = to renounce; śakyāni = possible; ityāha = is stated; - nahīti = in 'na hī' verse;]
It is not possible to renounce all action by a person is stated in 'na hī' verse.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
