Bhagavad Gīta Bhāshya
B.G 2.34
अकीर्तिं चापि भूतानि कथयिष्यन्ति तेऽव्ययाम्। सम्भावितस्य चाकीर्तिर्मरणादतिरिच्यते ॥२-३४॥
akīrtiṁ cāpi bhūtāni kathayiṣyanti te'vyayām। sambhāvitasya cākīrtirmaraṇādatiricyate ॥2-34॥
[ अकीर्तिं च अपि भूतानि कथयिष्यन्ति ते अव्ययाम्। सम्भावितस्य च अकीर्तिः मरणात् अतिरिच्यते॥
akīrtiṁ = ill-fame; ca = and; api = even; bhūtāni = among the beings; kathayiṣyanti = will narrate; te = of you; avyayām = ever lasting; sambhāvitasya = for a highly esteemed; ca = and; akīrtiḥ = disrepute; maraṇāt = compared to death; atiricyate = is higher;]
Besides, people will recount your ever lasting ill fame and for the highly esteemed, disrepute is worse than death.

बहुचित्रजगद्बहुधाकरणात् परशक्तिरनन्तगुणः परमः ।
सुखरूपममुष्य पदं परमं स्मरतस्तु भविष्यति तत्सततम् ॥
"The one who has created this variegated vast universe with varied forms has infinite power and is of infinite auspicious qualities. He certainly bestows the highest state of bliss to those who meditate on his ever happy essence." -Dwādasha stōtra 4.3
